Read in the papers a week later, that three finnish Motörheadbangers lost their hearing permanently on the same tour. Motörheads 15 years anniversary tour. It was pure Motörhead, back in the day. Lemmy is a God and will forever hang around.🤘
+sofakingdrunk66 I've seen Motörhead like 15 times since 1999, and every time they finished with Overkill. You'd probably had to have seen them in the 80's to see them finish with any other song. Unless you count the concerts where they had to cut it short because of Lemmy's declining health, like Wacken 2013.
They've finished some concerts with Ace of Spades also, with no Overkill, like 1 time in 2012, Lemmy just got back from being sick, and on the Motörizer tour and Kiss of Death tour I think

So this song was written back in 1979. FUCKING 1979. 1979 was back in the years when Black Sabbath were considered to be what Cannibal Corpse is today. People had never seen something that loud, dirty, full of energy and musical. Motörhead (and Lemmy as a songwriter and bassist) were light-years ahead of their time. Lemmy is God ❤️
