Very hard to listen to knowing it was the last time. I'm so grateful that they released the show on CD and DVD. Rock in peace Lemmy, we'll see you soon.
Chokes me how ill he was here but knowing he rocked till he couldn`t rock any more is a testament to the man he was. RIP sir...gone but NEVER forgotten.
once again his true belief of playing for his audiece reach more than other musicians in this field.a monument of honesty to those who bought a ticket to see him.
First saw Motorhead in 1984 / 85 and have never stopped loving them. Really chokes you up seeing Lemmy looking like this but he never stopped. The word legend is far too easily used but, in the case of Lemmy, it's the only one that is suitable.
Our beloved old super bands and stars are fantastic. However, it is also a fact that in recent years, measured by the TOP 50 hit lists of the largest music markets in the world, no human musicians were involved in more than 80% of the songs / hit recordings. And the computer-generated sound is still on the rise. So let's all support young musicians who make handmade music. Only if we buy their records, DVDs and merch do we enable the young bands and musicians to turn their passion into a profession and also to be able to make a living from it. The ROCK N ROLL is crying out for help folks...🤘🎸🎹🎷🎤🎺🥁🤘.
As I've always said if there is not a god there is now Lemmy is the chosen one best band in the world R I P Lemmy gone but never forgotten your music will live forever
Considering his age & health i think Lemmy done pretty good, he lived & breathed rock n roll & to be at THAT age & still rock & pull in the crowds is amazing. I bet dave brock wishes he could do that.
@@baldvale5418 dave brock sacked lemmy many yrs ago.. and Lemmy went on to be a bigger star in Motorhead than hawkwind were. Dave brock also got rid of Nik turner who was also a good singer / sax player & started hawkwind back in the day, he then went behind nik turners back & registered the name Hawkwind without telling anyone so that when they went out touring under the name hawkwind they got fined around £10.000.00. That's why i think Brock is a bell end.
Didn’t realize this was so close to his death. He looks like he was dying. Can’t believe he had the energy for a concert. He must of known he didn’t have much time left.
If you listen to his voice, you will hear that his time has come. Compare this to elder live records. In 2015 a friend said, there is one thing he want to do, to see Motörhead live. I few days before I have seen a actual picture of Lemmy. I said to my fried that he has to hurry up. I'm sad that I was not worng. 😪 RiP Lemmy
i seen these guy's play in the playhouse in edinburgh first time i'd seen the band. the gig ended a they left the stage. for a good 10 to 15 mins the crowd chanted motorhead in darkness and then the air raid siren went off and the bomber came down from the ceiling and they done bomber as an encore whole place erupted. a gig i will never forget back in the mist's of time when music was real \m/
Plenty would argue,Dee is a very average drummer, most Rock/Metal drummers could play exactly what he plays easily, and in many cases a whole lot better too lol
