Hi Bex, you said about the noise making it difficult to hear. I could be wrong but on the way out it looked as if your visor was not sealing properly along the bottom edge. Could be that. Anyway great vid and the MOT pass. 👍
Hey Icemodica - Thanks! :D With my helmet, it's a HJC one with the little clip that locks it closed - problem is the design is obviously poor (they won't admit it though). The visor I first had, it started to crack where the clip is. I had to go on and on at them before they would send me out a new one. Now had this one since last year, only used it several times and already it's starting to crack again. Not only that, but this one is definitely even harder to click closed! They say don't put pressure around the clip (which I don't) put you HAVE to push really quite firmly on the visor to click it shut. *Sigh* It's a great helmet, and the visor clip this is a great idea - it's just a poor design.
Bex88 Hi Bex, sounds like you have a real problem. I have an Arai and a Shoei helmet. I had to adjust the visor on the Shoei which moved the visor forward just a little and this made the lock very much better and the helmet quieter. Have a close look at your's and see if there is any adjustment. Good luck, ride safe. 👍
Haha yaaay :D It's so good to hear the words 'she passed' lol Always anxious whilst waiting every time. I've done the oil n filter on Sunday AND did my chain myself for the first time :D (Hopefully it's right lol!)
Aww thanks Bizz! I certainly did and was great :D Oil n' filter done on Sunday and tightened chain too, so hopefully all good to go. I think I'm gonna do a coolant change later this year too as it's probs due. Also needs brake fluid doing but aint confident enough to do that myself lol.
It's been lovely over Easter hols hasn't it! (If a tad on the too warm side for me haha) But I was super busy with coursework, then went away for 3 days with family, then looked after brother's while parents away so had no time out on her since! But hopefully soon :D

Well...Look who it is, I thought you quit motorcycling. If your helmet has a chin curtain that might help with the volume and definitely wear ear plugs
Hehe naaa I'm still about - Just splitting my time with quite a few other things currently but hopefully will get to have lots of nice rides throughout the year. Yeah helmet has chin curtain - It's just quite quiet in general - ear plugs I can only imagine would make it harder to hear! lol
@@Bex88_UK Ah that's strange I found my Freedconn to be louder than my 20s, earplugs dampen the wind allowing you to hear the audio from speaker better in my experience. Give it a go with some cheapo disposable plugs and see if it helps
