Great to see another video so soon. Comment for engagement. Put some bubbly on ice for the successful MOT and driving time! Welcome back to the channel, Sophie!
Thank you sharing this project with all of us. Been here since the very beginning and am hopeful that next time we see you we will be going along on a drive through the countryside.
Thanks! It’s always awesome to hear from people who’ve been following our progress from the beginning. We’ll do our best to have Misty road legal for the next one 🤞
Shade tree alignment tip, especially handy for people who have many miles to drive to the alignment shop. If you only do one side and your steering wheel was straight before. Get it close by eye, bring your wrenches, drive it, look at the steering wheel position. If it's off, stop, adjust tie rod a half-turn. Drive again, see if wheel is worse or better. Repeat till it's straight again, put the final "click" on the locknut. This doesn't work at all if you do both sides at once, but if you only do one, you'll be pretty close. Also doesn't cover caster/camber if you messed with anything other than the tie rods.
That probably would have helped as I only messed with one side. I did look into trying a string alignment but decided just to get it done professionally as there are three different places in the same industrial estate as our workshop that do alignments
Yay the sofa and Sophie are back. No tea but the wine is a fine substitute. With Misty as they say fifth time lucky for the MOT? Well something like that. How do we come patrons?
@@EnginesandUnfinishedBusiness that’s ok, I thought it was about time to do more than 👍 and subscribe. This is my favourite channel on RU-vid after all 🙂
