After the MOT failure, it was time to get the repairs done and get my Triumph Daytona 675 in for a Re-Test. However, things took an unusual turn for the better.

Garages are not all seeing and knowing it really depends. Depending on the size of the garage often they employ mot technicians, thats not the same as an old school mechanic. Its really best to do everything yourself, the only thing i dont do is painting.... Yeah its gone wrong a fair few times. Im just rubbish at it, end of really.

That’s quite annoying, hope they compensated you a bit for any fuel costs for a pointless ride back and forth plus a mot FAIL record on the bike.

Nope. No compensation. It was rather annoying given it was their error and what felt like a pointless failure. Shame really because they're nice people at that garage. I'm just glad she got a pass in the end 👍
