Revised version of the Mother thing I made. It's still under revision, but it's listenable now. So, if you got any comments or questions or critiques, lay 'em down for me.
Eventually if humanity keeps it up, robots and machines will fight us, and it’s up to us to inform them this is the theme they must play when they battle us
Music that plays when a computer scans for viruses. There’s that persistently ominous feeling of this remix. The lack of bass inadvertently gives this song a frightening atmosphere, especially at 2:15.
Pretty good. A bit too sublime and subdued, though. Perhaps raising the volume on that background bass distorted saw wave to nigh maximum will give it the oomph it needs? One primary reason that people enjoy the original so much is that upon the point that overdriven bass synth kicks in, you feel an adrenaline rush, like you are really facing a monstrous automaton hell-bent on rending you off your mortal coil unless you do so upon it first.
Pov: Cyberpunk, you are running from an assasin, the man is senseless, he wants you dead, you want to live, the killer does his job, but at a point, he loves your endurance, its a test, but you are determined to win
Thanks again for your feedback! Personally, I kinda like the 1:45 melody sound myself since it makes it sound creepier, but everything else I'll agree with you on.
@cylenalag Probably, but it was like three years ago when I made this. I don't have the original anymore, so I guess I'd have to make it all from scratch?
After Starman.Jr, end of the game, and you find out there’s more. After Starman, there’s Starman Super and he calls for help. Then the Starman Deluxe, who also calls for help, and has PSI Starstorm. But, there’s ghost of Starman, who’s based around Starstorm. Lastly, Final Starman, the most powerful and annoying, who has a shield too.
IS IT MOVING? ... Shit, i think i am starting to get into the bad side of sleep deprivation... The weird background moves if i move my eyes... Weird What's this cricket doing in my house? ;-; oh shi- *I am a mole cricket ost starts*
@tcblademaster I've thought about it and tried it a few times, but it just doesn't seem sinister enough for me to get a good feel on. I might try an 8-bit remix if I have time, though.
