Let Me Be Clear was written remotely at the height of Covid lockdown and marked the start of MAM’s path toward writing more social justice based material on issues that matter.
When it seemed we had no power, it felt essential to put these feelings into our lyrics and music. So, from a beat that Ali Hutchison (drums) produced, ‘Let me be clear’ (‘LMBC’) was created, with lead vocalist Naledi conveying the message through her uncompromising lyrics.
