Then when you need breadcrumbs for any recipe, without thawing, just give the frozen bread portions a quick pulse in the mixer grinder, to yield tasty breadcrumbs (potato filing bits add to the flavour of the breadcrumbs). Another exciting way to use the breadcrumbs is to make a savoury pudding with grated cheese, some milk, butter, herbs like coriander or parsley, finely chopped and sautéed vegetables like carrots, onions, tomatoes, capsicum, potatoes or left-over mashed potatoes or potato filling, green peas just as you would a sweet bread-butter pudding. Eggs are optional. For added flavour, toss in some roasted and coarsely crushed peanuts. Bake and voila! A delicious breakfast bake is ready! You’re welcome! 🙏🙂
