0:47 just made me process the question “when is this point of the game?” Kumatora isn’t with Lucas until chapter 4 or 5 and flint replaces kumatora in the final game. Does anyone know what moment of the 64 build could this have been?

Nintendo can't actually do anything to shut this down because the copyright is co-owned by Itoi. He would have to be the one to try and shut it down, and he likes stuff like this. Story, characters, and all of that is legally owned by Itoi, Nintendo apparently only owns the code for the first three games. Nintendo won't shut this down.
