Except voyerism and idencent exposures are crimes...

Parents reported the Rotherham gang but were ignored. These are all avoidable crimes.

What is the point? Most of the time I report violent crimes the police don't even turn up!

Police don’t take it seriously when women report these crimes. A friend of mine reported such a crime some years ago and the police literally said in conversation it was “petty crime”! She got the impression that she was just wasting their time and it was pointless telling them about it.

Let not for get it was foreign born criminal from eastern Europe who had criminal record for violence in his own country but was just aloud to walk in to the uk

Our current conviction rate is 2% of reported R's they are reported but nothing is done for other countries the conviction rate is around 20% and they consider that to be low due to lack of evidence our judiciary suggests not only do we have lack of evidence but a majority of women are just lying and that is questioned straight from the report which I'm sure most decide not to file. My friend reported one years ago and the police officer she reported it to made her feel like she was partly at blame by how the questioning so the officer changed her mind, the guy lives in her town he laughs at her shouting "she loved it really" she literally couldn't touch anyone for a month and if her wrist was held she'd burst out crying still to this day she clearly didn't want what happened to happen. Women need some form of self protection like mace it works brilliantly in America stopping the problem before it starts giving them enough time to call the police since at least assaults get convicted and a judiciary can hardly claim there isn't proof you've got the right person if they're on the floor crying when the police turn up.

This is well intended but patronising af, victims do report but police will just close the case NFA. If police cba - often not even bothering to tell the victim they cba, then what's the point of reporting anything?

Even if nothing gets done, at least you know yourself, you have self resoect to get the police involved 💪💪💪💪💪

What about reporting those gangs from Rotherham? Pretty sure they were being reported constantly and yet the police allowed it.

During my teenage years, I reported it on three separate occasions, immediately after they occured, and gave police detailed descriptions. However, the police officers were unable to locate them and simply told me, "there's a group home nearby so petty crimes are common." Also, might I add that all three incidents took place in a busy residential area during broad daylight and two of three incidents resulted in me having to run for my life as they were chasing me down the street. I didn't even know what to say to the officers when they referred to it as a "petty" crime.
