My condolences to you. My mom has been in Heaven 6 yrs now as of April 24th. My best friend who had two children who are now 19 went to Heaven in December 2022. I am like a second mom to them. My friend and I had been friends for 46 yrs from our teen yrs as freshman in college and roommates. This was the first year without their mom and I tried to be there to encourage them. Her daughter, especially is close to me. Hang in there! You never will stop missing her but it does get a little easier to life day but day each year that passes.

Mothers day is a very bittersweet day and reminder of so much pain and loss for a biological mom who had the courage and strenght to know she couldn't raise her children and asked for help and I now fill her shoes on the mom side of her children . They love to visit their mom but it's always with a great pain and loss when and after the visit takes place . It's been four years since they last seen her . They each got me something for mothers day and made a special card that I will always treasure ,one of the children also made a card for their biological mom which brought me to tears with the message she put inside for her mom , but at this time we have no way of contacting her ❤️

I work at a retail store.I get so frustrated that many say they are Christians. and say they drink because it calms and destress them aftet a hard day's work.Do they forget what the Bible says about "Come to me all those that are heavy laden that I will give you rest"? I have never drank in my life and will never drink. We don't to drink alcohol at all to live. We need more pastors. to preach the truth.
