I can only say that the building management and also the police department dropped the ball. Management really doesn't care all they care is about making sure that you pay your rent on time. If you call 311 for a noise complaint police will show up but would not get off their vehicles they will actually call the complainant and tell the complainant. That they could not do nothing about it. The police officers that show up would close the ticket and put on the 311 comment that the condition was corrected and no further to report. And they did all of this without getting off the cars. These noise complaints been going on for a whole year. And the suspect made multiple complaints to management and to 311 and those complaints. resulted in two individuals losing their life. By the suspect. and the suspect losing his life by police. This lady is sitting there being interviewed and all she's talking about the good things that she shared with her husband. But she's not talking about what really was going inside her apartment that became a tragedy after a whole year of complaints coming from her apartment. It's very sad didn't have to go this way but is a Learning lesson for building management and 311. Building management need to do a better investigation and handling these noise complaints. As well as 311 and sending real police that get off their cars and go and investigate to see what's really going on.

Horrible. Sadly though she started this so I know she regrets. If he kicked the door at 2 a.m why was she out there arguing with him. From what I saw the husband was defending her when he came out.

The only thing I could say that this is a sad tragedy, but to be honest with you, why can everyone just couldn't have left that door closed and lock and call for the NYPD, on repeat they would've been there that would have solved this issue. Put in a number of complaints, keep calling 911. That's why they're there for I wish that this family couldn't have took all the extra measures just to make sure that this man is put away in jail for harassment and furthermore of the complaints and issues that were arosing out from this toxin environment.

The deceased assassin with the noise complaint is at fault, though stepdad holding scissors to his face flashpoint that horror. Hopefully State Assemblywoman et al are working with Flatbush Gardens to increase Security or help move her family elsewhere.

The most incredible saddest thing, not mentioned here is that the downstairs neighbor had complained about the noise level going on upstairs! Not making excuses, but if one has never experienced the psychological impact it can have on ones character, under such circumstances,is certainly unimaginable!
