MotherShip Racing - First Finish, then Finish First 

This is my first legitimate win in a Multiplayer Online race in Forza Motorsports 7 (PC Version). I'm rarely in last place in the Multiplayer races, but also almost never in first.
Technically, I think this is my second win, but the first win isn't official IMO as there were only three cars total in the race, and one of them was never in contention so that one was mostly just a head-to-head battle. This one, on the other hand, had 9 cars on the starting grid, so I consider this a legit win.
I qualified for P3 to start and managed to hold onto P3 for most of the first few laps. The opening lap was a fierce battle between me and #2 for 2nd place while the leader was way off in front. I had an issue on lap three with a particularly tricky corner at Laguna Sega and ended up in the dirt, losing a couple of positions. I'm able to capitalize on a mistake to get back into 4th, and then back to 3rd when the leader pitted for new tires.
At that point it looked like a pretty clear 3rd place finish for me, but racing is a strange beast, and sometimes things happen to turn it to your favour.
