13 minutes into having discovered this genre and i'm already a huge fan

If you think about it and listen in a bit deeper the playlist tells a monster hunting story at first it's excitement and you think it'll just be some fun with friends and that monsters aren't real So everyones camping and getting it all set up and everything is good, people are hanging out and unsurprisingly the cryptid hunting trip gives no results But at night everyone's hearing sounds in the woods inhuman screaming that doesn't sound like foxes or any animal the mood turns cold this joke trip has given them what they wanted but they aren't sticking around to take photos like they thought they're shaking, eyes watering, anxiety spiking they're packing up quickly and getting back in the car And as they're running away they all know damn well they aren't going to be messing around with urban legends and cryptids anymore (this part is told by in the woods somewhere)

Brings me back to recovering turtles in creeks and sneaking out to night bike with the other neighborhood kids. ✨🔥

Romanticizing them unless they are clearly good cryptids is bad and I hate misinformation spread. Turning a extremely serious topic, study, and job, into a quirky little trend is extremely disrespectful to us who really study this :((
