@@Thegreninjaandgodzillafanaticmothra have no mom. Mothra is kind of like Phoenix die reincarnated with same memories. It's a single telepathic link. Each mothra is different but same mothra at end.
@@Thegreninjaandgodzillafanatic it is basically the same mothra, she was slumbering down there because her consciousness get transferred to the kotm one. Even in the novel it was stated that its the same mothra according to the bioacoustic something
Mothra rescued pretty much every party at some point in GxK. Saved Kong from getting fried by Godzilla, saved the humans from getting smashed by apes and crashing in Hollow Earth, and saved Godzilla from a deep freeze attack by Shimo. In reality it was more like GxKxM
I went into this movie blind. Didn't watch the trailers, didn't watch the teasers. Just went for it and did not know what I was gonna expect. Back in Kong vs. Godzilla, I was disappointed to hear the the licensing for Rodan, Mothra, and Ghidorah already expired and that they were never coming back. So when Mothra was brought back, I was blown away. She was even more visible here. In King of the Monsters, she was always hidden, hidden by the waterfall, hidden by the smoke and fighting in the dark. Now she's in broad daylight and the camera is focusing on her instead of panning away to focus on the humans. They finally realized the main characters aren't the humans but the Kaijus.
Mothra's godrays are underrated. Strong enough to dispel Ghidorah's storm, strong enough to actually stun Shimo and strong enough to knock Godzilla off his feet
0:27 We all know the feeling..I miss her voice..😢❤...I was literally crying after watching this in the cinema....I'm my opinion, this is one of the greatest Intro of all time 💖
I'm glad she's back, though I was kind of hoping Godzilla's next solo movie would have involved him searching for the egg that was mentioned during the credits of _KOTM._
Is it safe to assume that there’s somebody right now that took the time to pause this scene clip it, put in editing program and remove the song of Junkie XL for the king of the monster rendition of Mothra theme
She always comes back🥹💕. No matter how many times she might go down. She’ll always be back to continue protecting mankind, being a symbol of peace, and healing those who are hurt.
As the representation of life in general. Where there is life there is death aka (Godzilla k.o.m.) But in (GxK) she resumes the second half of this cycle. Where there is death there is Life. And so the eternal wheel of life resumes her radiant light to keep the balance with her symbiotic relationship with Godzilla keeping the balance.
We usually see these movies together as a family but my daughter was up at college so she saw it up there. She said the mothra scene gave her chills. I love that she love it!!!!
Sitting in a crowded movie theater and seeing this part got me jittering in excitement like i was a little kid again. Hearing that screech and seeing those wings got me cheering, "That's my Girl!" Tryna hold back tears. What an experience!
One thing i wish this scene had: remixes of old mothra soundtracks. Like maybe the singing of the twins as she moves her arm up. Really give us that feel of her return.
They will need permission from Toho Studios in Japan to make her solo movie. They even had to wait for an answer from them to use Mothra in this movie. So just in case they can't use her, they came up with an original monster called Phosphera. Hopefully after this film's huge Box Office's success, Toho will finally grant permission for Legendary to make a solo Mothra movie. Or they could just give her a "Godzilla Minus One" treatment. Either way from Hollywood or Japan, I'm just glad Mothra is back again in the spotlight.
I very nearly cried tears of joy when this scene came on in the theater. Mothra’s been a favorite of mine since I was in 2nd grade, and never did I think I’d get to see her share the big screen with Godzilla and Kong. Seeing that she was ok after her sacrifice to King Ghidorah was reassuring. Edit: Adam Wingard just confirmed this is not the same Mothra we saw in G2KOTM. This is in fact Mothra’s mother. The eggs laid on the surface were laid by this Mothra. She’s the original one. Nonetheless, this was still a great scene, despite it being a different Mothra. This might open the door to Mothra Leo’s introduction in the MonsterVerse.
It is basically the same mothra hence why she was in deep slumber in the hollow earth. It was because her consciousness get transferred to the body in the surface. According to the novel the bioacoustic of this mothra is indeed identical to the one in kotm making it the same individual
I hope that Mothra gets a monsterverse movie named after her I'm glad they brought her back and not only did she unit with Godzilla but for the first time she was with Kong.😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤
Funny story about my imax screening of GxK The screen projector crapped out during the scene of Kong discovering the ape slave colony. It goes dark. When the screen came back, they skipped a big chunk of the film all the way to Mothra’s reveal. Everybody went apeshit cause they had no idea about who Mothra was or that they had any idea Mothra was even in the movie.
@@Wright805 Jia managed to fulfill the prophecy of summoning and awakening Mothra and end the rivalry between Godzilla and Kong so they can team up to defeat the Skar King.
@ritchieherrera Quizás si porque el diseño que dice @TheNowhereMan0 no iba a resistir en la batalla y ahora que es dorada es más poderosa A y tú ya no haces videos verdad yo estoy suscrito yo también hago videos
There are some rumors that the primates here are actually Chimpanzees, not Gorillas. This explains the fact that Kong has a better physical structure than the others. It is also worth remembering that in the comic Skull Island: the birth of Kong, there is a flashback that shows primates very similar to Gorillas fighting Skullcrawlers. So probably the other giant Gorillas, except Kong, were completely extinct, while Chimpanzees survived. And apparently the Orangutans too, since Skar King appears to be the only Orangutan there
They aren't chimpanzees, gorillas or orangutans. They would be their own species of great ape. They might share some physical similarities but that wouldn't make them direct translations. Kong's physical differences likely come from being far healthier than Skar Kings tribe who are worked to exhaustion, probably underfed and mistreated. You can see a lot of them are also partially deformed. Kong on the other hand eats regularly and gets plenty of exercise which is why he's so much more physically impressive the same would happen with humans if you compared an athlete to someone living like a slave. Skar King is most likely a different genus of the same species or at least a close relation similar to the difference between chimps and bonobos but he certainly has very few similarities to orangutans besides red fur and elongated limbs.
