Moths DIY miniature pop up book template with 5 pages and pop-up mechanisms. Due to the tiny size of the elements, 4 of the mechanisms are similar, I tried to simplify the paper craft as much as possible because cutting out the elements will be quite challenging. I hope this video gives you ideas on how you can make your own miniature pop-up.
I think this is an activity that requires some degree of attention to detail and fine motor skills ability due to the size of the different parts. Some tabs that will have to be glued are as small as a few millimeters.
I used 200g paper to make the model that I used for the presentation photo, but I think a good result can be achieved with thinner paper, too. If you are using thinner paper, it would probably be easier to glue the small tabs. I cut the majority of the items using scissors, but I used a paper-cutting knife for the inside cuts).
I used a ruler to apply pressure to the paper, creating the creases, and then I folded the paper back and forth several times for each crease, helping the paper become accustomed to the folds.

- Comet moth
- Tiger moth
- Silk moth
- Luna moth
- Madagascan Sunset Moth
