Listening to this at 30, I never imagined my life would be in the exact position in the song. It meant something to me at 13, but my GOD the emotions this song explains at 31 has me clinging to it. Life blows
Can't believe last night was their final show ever. They played this in Seattle on that tour, and it was fantastic, beautiful, and that night was full of magic. I'll miss this band more than any band I've ever listened to that broke up. :(
I can’t believe it either... and I missed it. I saw them in 2007 but I was living in Seattle the day they came through. I was sooooo sad I didn’t even know about it. Still have two of their shirts from that 2007 show though, so that’s a happy memory! Where did they play? My sister saw them in Ohio on their last tour and I was SOOOO jealous

This song reminds me of the horrible break up I'm currently going through. After 10 + years we started fighting a lot. we don't have kids and aren't married. She went through a gastric bypass (regained most of the weight), claimed to have MS from the day we met not to mention a bad family history, her father died in prison from liver failure, after being sent there for murder (not innocent). I tried, to be her friend, I tried to love, by the end I didn't do enough I didn't emphasis her emotions, I'll admit I wasn't Freddy Prince as a BF. IN the end she started using, found more fun, friends than I was. She left me a year ago, although living in the same apartment. I feel so hurt and a failure. Not sure who am I or where to begin again. If you have good advice, I'd love to hear it.
Literally like 10 or 11 years ago when i first heard this album and saw this cover ive always pictured it as Michael Cera. Its so funny and cool to see others think the same
"Even If It Kills" is probably my least favorite MCS album (that's not to say it is bad by any means), but for me it definitely has some of it's strongest songs, with this one and "The Conversation".
Idk what you mean... I hate non-rap music but I've been able to listen to this album since it released and never get tired of it and actually enjoy each song.
Wow. Just heard this song again for the first time since probably like 2008-2009? Saw MCS at a show and remembered I used to own this album (bought the CD in wal mart lol) Hearing the intro and listening to the lyrics, wow I wonder what I was thinking back then when hearing this but it really hits now too. Oh memories. And the future.. what comes next ?
