Motion in a straight line refers to the movement of an object along a path that can be represented by a straight line. It's a fundamental concept in physics and is often studied in the context of kinematics, which deals with the description of motion without considering its causes (forces).
Kinematic equations of accelerated motion are equations that describe the motion of an object experiencing acceleration. These equations are derived from the basic principles of kinematics and are useful for predicting various parameters of motion such as displacement, velocity, and acceleration over time.
The four main kinematic equations for motion in a straight line under constant acceleration are:
1. v = u + at: This equation relates the final velocity (v) of the object to its initial velocity (u), acceleration (a), and time (t). Here, u is the initial velocity, a is the constant acceleration, t is the time taken, and v is the final velocity.
2. s = ut + 1/2at^2: This equation relates the displacement (s) of the object to its initial velocity (u), acceleration (a), and time (t). Here, u is the initial velocity, a is the constant acceleration, t is the time taken, and s is the displacement.
3. v^2 = u^2 + 2as: This equation relates the final velocity (v) of the object to its initial velocity (u), acceleration (a), and displacement (s). Here, u is the initial velocity, a is the constant acceleration, s is the displacement, and v is the final velocity.
4. s = 1/(u + v)t: This equation relates the displacement (s) of the object to its initial velocity (u), final velocity (v), and time (t). Here, u is the initial velocity, v is the final velocity, t is the time taken, and s is the displacement.
These equations are applicable when the acceleration is constant. If acceleration is not constant, calculus-based methods are required to analyze the motion.

Hello! I found your video quite understandable and enjoyable as well. However, @ 32:52 I felt the need to point out something here as thus: Here, when we integrate, it was actually definite since they said, "if initially the body is at rest". This implies that t=0s (since initial velocity is 0) and since they asked us to find velocity at t=4s, therefore, we can assume the time interval for acceleration to be between t=0 and t=4 which means we can safely assume that the lower limit of the integration is 0 whereas the upper limit is 4. So, we can use definite integration to get the desired solution (which is 64 m/s). Other than that, everything in the video was great. Thanks a lot!

Sir I wish you had started class 11th , 12 th earlier , I had learned Chem and Phy from u in class 10 th and got 95% , in class 11th my score dropped miserably and now I am just done with my class 12 th boards and Phy was really tough . When I saw this lecture I had tears in my eyes I wished u were there during my class 11 th and 12 th. Loads of love 🥰

Displacement= 6t + t³ So, V(velocity)= ds/dt = d(6t + t³)/dt=6+3t² Acceleration = dv/dt= d(6 + 3t²)/dt= 0+6t=6t Putting t = 5s We get Acceleration = (6*5)units=30 units If correct, then please reply 😅

I think the answer to the question at the end 30 units. This is the method I used: Displacement = t^3 + 6t By differentiation, we get: Instantaneous velocity = 3 * t^2 + 6 Differentiating again, we get: Instantaneous acceleration = 6t At t=5, this would be 6 * 5 = 30 units Let me know if this is right

Sir used to teach us better before 2-3 years. I miss those days when sir used to teach complex topics in easy, interesting and unique ways. Sir, I think the decrease in viewers of your recent videos is due to your change in teaching techniques. Sorry to say, but your videos are not interesting like your previous videos... Please teach us through your old unique ways. everybody will like it, your old viewers will return and your channel will grow as before . I have commented this in your previous recent videos in order to send this message to you. Do reply if you received this message...
