Join us as we visit the amazing Motiongate at the Dubai Parks and Resorts in Dubai, Untied Arab Emirates
This stunning movie studios style parks is awesome and is definitely my favourite theme park of our Dubai and Abu Dhabi trip, this park is on the same level as Universal Studios, if not better in some ways with themed areas such as Lionsgate, Columbia Studios, Smurfs Village and the incredible Dreamworks
There are so many awesome rides at Motiongate including 5 excellent roller coasters, flat rides and some of the worlds best dark rides from Shrek to the Ghostbusters, a fantastic park that truly is world class
Vlog and on ride footage was all filmed in HD 1080p 60fps using a GoPro Hero 6 Black with official accessories

Such quiet parks in Dubai, shame about lack of atmosphere but for getting on rides I suppose. Loved the dry hot dogs chicken goujons in breadcoombes comment! 😂😂 It's absolutely hilarious you know Andy 🤣👍

The DreamWorks building is awesome, the mad pursuit coaster was a shock to me, very fast launch lol.we loved the dragon glider too, my girls like the pirates ship.

The original Zombieland movie drop tower where it was filmed is a few hours from where I live here in Georgia USA. I’ve been on it and it’s fun!

Don't bother with the newest Madagascar but How to Train Your Dragon 3 is great and finishes off the trilogy really well. I also can't believe how few people there seem to be at these parks, if you stuck that Dreamworks bit alone in the UK it'd be absolutely rammed.

Hi Andy, loving this vlog as i can talk about my time here back in 2015, you mentioned the temperature is a nice 27, we made the mistake of going August and it was 42, wife and youngest had to retreat back in the air con of Macdonald's lol. That theming in the restaurant really blew my mind to. My eldest is a massive hunger game fan so she loved that area. It's nice to hear that you love the park like i did, shame shawn was not that impressed with it. We saw the 6 flag fencing near by,.have a look at some of my vids from here., sorry got mixed up we only went last year to motiongate, it was not built in 2015.

Great vlog again Andy, i would have liked to see more of the travel vlog on the Emirates A380 & your views on the plane etc.,phapps on the return trip lol it looks an amazing park, was there a lot of walking between rides??, & could you hire golf carts etc., if you cant walk that far ??, But an amazing job again Andy, all the best to Lisa & your self, Keep safe , have a great Christmas

graham latter unfortunately I didn’t film any of the return flight home, firstly I didn’t feel comfortable filming in Dubai airport and on the plane someone was told to put there camera away !! Yes you could get golf carts from the VIP car park to the parks and back and a free tram ride from the main car park

Didn’t Six Flags pull the plug on their park being constructed out there due to the lack of demand at the other parks? The original owner of Club Pleasure Beach had a massive hand in getting this park built up and opened.

Was just under £1,000 return for the 2 of us from Heathrow to Dubai with Emirates !! If you book with Etihad and fly to Abu Dhabi it’s cheaper

Your wrong when you say public transport would cost a fortune. Monorail costs like 10p and taxis cost less than a fiver. A taxi to motiongate cost me about £11

Thing is with the metro is that it doesn’t go to any of the parks so no point in using that so would have to use taxis, bus or hire a car !! The hire car we had wasn’t expensive for the week plus to fill it up only cost £13.......bargain

@@Coaster_Crazy was just about to mention the cost of taxis out there, they cost next to nothing because of the price of petrol. We didn't hire a car on either of our visits to the UAE as we didn't need to and we didn't spend a fortune either. Having said that I can see the benefits of hiring a car, especially if you want to do Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the same visit.

I have never dissed Universal as it’s one of my favourite chain of parks !! I also don’t have any beef with Florida either as I’ve been 9 times, the only thing I’ve said is that it gets really hot and stupidly busy so one of the main reason why we really enjoyed the parks in the UAE was because they were so quiet meaning we could enjoy the parks more

They seem to have an endless bank account over there but yes they can’t be making a profit as I have never seen these parks busy, quiet in summer as it’s too hot and quiet in winter so........no idea 🤷‍♂️
