We spoke backstage in London with Motionless In White frontman Chris Motionless about the band's recent album 'Disguise', filming the dramatic, Tim Burton-inspired video for 'Another Life', adjusting after their lineup change, life on the road and his plans for the future of MIW.

@@yukikittyy3522 the other thing is people want to see them in different parts of the world...but there's not enough time to do it all. Especially as a band with any sort of fame/recognition; and splitting it up to where you don't overwork youself. You should never get to a point where doing what you love turns into a "job" or "chore" Honestly I think bands need to take long breaks away from each other, hang out with family and friends, maybe work on personal life or work...have a solo job or whatever it may be... Bands shouldn't feel they have to cater to the fans' wants and needs, even though there are folks that will disagree

I saw a lot of bands live this year and MIW was by far the best. Great setlist, tight performance, lots of energy and you can tell Chris and the band are really down to earth dudes who appreciate their fans.

At the time I went to the concert I also didn't have friends who listened to them as well and/or could fo to the show with me, so I went alone. And it still was great, so I recomend to go even if you're alone :)

I've been going to concerts alone for years! Didn't regret one show! After a while I found a Facebook Group with people who also didn't have people to go to shows with & I met up with a few at the next show. I have grown incredible friendships with them & our little concert gang grows and grows, bc we just talk to people who are alone at concerts & it's the coolest thing! :) Just try to put yourself out there. And for now, just enjoy going alone to concerts, there's nothing wrong with it. :)

Gathering coins from the couch cushions, Ive been to every single MIW show near me including Warped Tour but unfortunately this year I just can’t afford it. Motionless has been the one band that throughout all these years has not lost my interest and support. Ive met Chris and he is an amazing guy. No matter what changes go on in the band, I know I will feel something when I hear your music. Thank you for making music I, and many other, can connect and relate to.

I feel like Chris describes this kinda of Murphy's Law effect within the band. Rolling through the motions of everything like communication, line up change, chemistry, just anything that could naturally happen for better or worse. Either way, whatever happens is meant to happen. But it has made them a tighter unit which in turn gave Disguise the vibe that it was born with

I ended up hearing voices by chance on the radio. Frankly i fought listening to it because I tend to stick to what im familiar with and like. I gotta say however, Motionless In White hooked me IMMEDIATELY. And then i kept hearing more and more music by them and i knew i was a fan. I'm not sure what their older stuff was like but i can feel the shift they made recently and I guess what im saying is im happy found them. I cant put into words what i like. Theres something there that makes my mind feel at ease when i hear their music and that doesnt happen often. Thank you motionless in white!

Sophie Cat If you can afford it, get a VIP meet n greet package. You still get your admission ticket for GA but you also get 1) to meet the band and receive hugs (most of the time, unless they do a group Q&A type of thing or so I’ve heard. I’ve never been to a Q&A one but every time I’ve gotten hugs.) 2.) if they choose, a Q&A 3.) a vip gift (usually signed posters and pins for jackets) 4.) a VIP photo with the band. And they are very sweet and friendly toward their fans. Chris has a habit of squeezing the air out of me and he nuzzles too. They all nuzzle when they give hugs, some more than others.

Im in a wheelchair and cant mosh anymore i share the same feeling where im from theres really only 2 good venus close to me that have good wheelchair acess and seats . The indursty chances but it seems cenuse and ppls opions dont .we desirve to have good fun days to Enjoy our life!! And consitering ive seen bands like motionsless 2 and knot 14 times korn 4 and so on im not adjusting to the lack of aceasble fun we have as disbled people of any walk of life
