Chris always has a perfect balance of his own style of singing and a really good quality impression of the original vocals. The whole band in general is impressive on a musical scale and effort. Love them!
He's been using a different vocal style recently, seemingly using more of his range too. It's very prevalent on this and the reinterpretations of Eternally Yours and Another Life, that said, I'm interested to hear this vocal style in correlation with the heavy music he said the next album is going to contain
@@DeAdiLLuSioNz I'll admit that Chris does have live vocals that differ from the studio, but it mostly boils down to diction rather than vocal ability, in the sense that he Manson voices a lot. He's not bad by any means.

ME TOOOO. I feel this. The killers were my childhood and I was obsessed with MIW all through my teens. It’s like the two worlds have combined and Idk how to act 😂
I'm so in love with this version. This is how it should have sounded this whole time. I'm glad and thankful that guys (Chris or whoever's idea it was) decided to record it.
Not being a hater im a producer, a lot of this is the sound of pitch correction for vocal smoothing and proper key representation. Layering for diversity, chorus and vocal effects for the ad libs, reverb on main vocal track with delay and harmony underneathe very subtly to create a ring in your ear Its a mix of having a creative mindset, knowledge of layering and tracking, a great producer and a good voice for a better effect. All in all without the electronics of today, we would have a much different sound. Even the drums in all bands are synthetic on recording now for sound standards. Their older recordings were with different producers and different sounds come from,it over the years. Its really just the process of growing as a musician. And its a beautiful process. Im no negative person about all this stuff either.. I use it too. But learning to use it correctly. In unity... Chris is really showing off his clean vocals here. His voice has a very good, unique quality to it here that you don't hear much in MIW's other songs, and I'm digging it.
@@theblacksheep00 what does that have to do with his voice though? Serious question, no disrespect. Does it alter his voice somehow? The reason I ask is because I know that's why some vocalists don't get their teeth fixed or plastic surgery.

I have a hard time saying that a cover can be better than the original, but it's pretty good, I'll agree to that! Anyway, we should support both bands and keep rockin'!

Bro let me tell you, i went to their concert and had no idea they had this on their list of songs to play. I was super tickled when realized what they were playing! I was losing my mind when this came this up!!!

It's amusing to me to see so many comments about Chris's clean vocals here. Like, did you guys not listen to their first 2-3 albums? He's always had great clean vocals.
The original was one of my favorites when I was in my early 20’s and I didn’t know if I was going to like a remake/cover but damn I really like this! Had a little more edge to it and I am here for it.
Just wishing for more quarantine covers from motionless in white. The instrumental, Chris's voice...very refreshing cover of this classic lol, in my opinion.

I was in shock when I saw this was the song they covered and I mean that in the best way possible. I love the original of this so much and they completely did it justice and I loved their spin on it. Chris' vocals sound phenomenal with this song.
OMG I LITERALLY CRIED LISTENING TO THIS. I wasn't expecting "Somebody told me", it's one of my classic favourites and I just got emotional listening to it. Such an amazing cover, I love it so much!!!

There are definitely similarities... However (and this is only my opinion,) there are also huge differences too. Both have amazing vocal ranges but Chris's seems like he has a deeper growl.🤔What do you think?
