AMAZING!!!! My stepmom has had this phone for years over 5, it was her first cell, recently her screen went black. It was really upsetting because there were a lot of photos that weren't backed up. My dad passed 2 years ago. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! The tapping the power button showed its first signs of life, after I got to the massage part it came back to life! THANK YOU SO SO SO SO MUCH! Do you have any permanent solution to this? Bcuz everytime my screen goes dark, I have to reboot my phone. Been doing it for the past 3months. I'm wondering if I can continue with this or get a new phone.
You're a life saver bro i thought my phone was broken and i got more nervous when all the other hax didn't work for me but when i tried smacking it, the screen was showing up but disappears right after so i smacked it as fast as i could to the point where my hands felt so painful and finally it is fixed. Yeah ik its a long comment but i just wanted to say thank you.
This is just a joke but when you're smacking your phone is that phone abuse and can it call I don't know what would you call it like children's aid phone aid anyway it's just a joke it's stupid one at that but my lame attempt at being funny

It's midnight in Tx. Thank you so much. I was already stressing of getting another phone. On fixed income. I followed your steps to the T with the exception of putting it in the freezer. Nothing worked. I did all the steps I mentioned once, then in round two I slapped , got blue screen only and went back to black, then massaged-got blue screen again,then back to black and last I tapped front and back-still nothing. I put phone down approximately 20 min. After that I grabbed phone with screen facing me and slapped the back part of phone against my palm about 10x consecutively. It magically appeared as normal. Thank you so much !! After so many failed attempts and nearly breaking my nails trying to remove the back cover to reinsert the battery I finally got rid of the black screen
I grabbed it from bottom and smacked it on my leg that did the trick for me, got it working for now, enough to save photos and factory reset. Also this is my 2nd Motorola Phone that went bad, had a G4 play a while ago that had GPS issues and I needed GPS so I bought an Alcatel A3 XL, the Alcatel is still working, backing my stuff back to it now :D
I'm so grateful for your video! Used the hard start and "massage" to save my husband's phone. So happy it came back to life, because I thought I would have to buy a new phone. He finally got comfortable using it, as he can operate the camera and make/receive phone calls. No texting yet, just taking baby steps. :-)
A little skeptical but did work in the end. At one point the screen kinda came on then eventually faded back to black. Think a mix of slap and massage worked! thanks so much!
The last method, helped me revive my broken screen phone, for some reason, when the screen crashed, and I wanted to restart the phone, the system made different log errors. Wiping the data solved the issue. Thank you so much.

Hello! I've watched this tutorial 2 minutes in so far, and I just wanted to say that my Motorola G phone is black but I still hear noises. The noise at 2:14 happened to my phone. I was just randomly clicking and I sometimes hear those noises. When I click the turn the off button at the side, it still makes the noise. I also feel it vibrating. What should I do about that?
Thank you! The alarm went off 2 hrs ago but when I tried to switch on an hour later, it was black screen. The good news was a notification sound. But it would not start. Amidst checking charging cable I dropped the phone onto carpet. Still 'dead'. Followed your first 2 tips and it is BACK! Thank you 🧐🥳

@worldoftech thanks for this detailed video. unfortunately, was hoping this could fix moto x2, but black screen doesnt want to go away. whenever i plug it into a wall charger, the green led blinks once at the top, then nothing happens, any clue as to what might be wrong?

@@Movie2Documentary the led light blink is for about 2 seconds and it goes away. Although, i have tried charging it with a Moto Turbo charger for well over a few hours, it still doesnt turn on. Any clue as to what might be defective?
I got my battery replaced today for my moto g5 plus. But the screen won't turn on after replacing the battery. The phone is on because I can hear it ring, but the screen is black. Should I get a screen replacement if trying all your methods didn't work for me?
hi i power offed my phone then when i tried to power it back on it wont work and i tried all of them even the reset thing at the end it still wont work any ideas on what to do?

If I hadn't done it myself I wouldn't have believed it! Slapping,tapping & massaging my phone got it going again,I was at my wits end with it until I saw your video & thought why not? The other alternative was to take a hammer to the bloody thing! Thank you so much for your help
