Hello. The RS was obviously the final incarnation of the Daytona. Obviously the bodywork is different to the earlier models and is the same as the Sport inj apart from the fairing which differs slightly to accommodate the 4V rocker covers. The RS benefits from the WP suspension and later spec wheels as does the Sport inj if I'm correct? The internals were beefed up with steel rods and forged pistons, and you're correct this bike runs an aftermarket race exhaust system, K and N air filters, plus ecu remapping, which improves the experience vastly over standard. The engine breather system and lubricaton looks different to earlier models, but you'd probably have to put the bikes beside each other to spot the difference. I'm sure there's a few other minor differences which I haven't mentioned, possibly other more knowledgeable owners might care to pitch in with information? Hope this helps. 👌 What year Sport is your bike?
