I collect mine tomorrow in this colour. I knew I wanted one when they were first sneaked into the press before EICMA 2021. It's been a two year wait, but well worth it. This thing is gorgeous.

@@droommotor I have the panniers and centre stand fitted. I have also got a Hepcko and Becker rack to go on it as it's neater than the OEM one. Otherwise, I'm keeping it standard.

You can get a larger touring screen that uses the existing mounting points.

@@Nickbaldeagle02 You can, but I don't feel the need for it. At motorway speeds, the standard screen in the raised position provides plenty of wind resistance.

Personally I think next year there will be some new colors. And maybe a black engine. But that's it! They will concentrate on the stelvio for next year! Thanks for your reply!

I fully agree on everything. It looks stunning (which nowadays is not granted), it rides and brakes superbly and its engine is spot on in terms of power, torque and elasticity. Very stable at motorway speeds it might though benefit from a sportier set of tyres to make it more nimble on twisty roads. Very, very good bike in my view.

I know most have had a great experience with theirs, so I'm trying to be patient as mine has had several issues right from the beginning and is currently in the shop.

I think it is relatively trouble free. But not for most. Hope your bike is back soon! What are your issues?

@Droommotor I have the v100 S. sputtering surging throttle, and the display doesn't show an option for the heated hand grips. Dealership is a long drive so it's an all day thing to get there and back.

@@philc9305 Some have also had coolant leaks due to faulty radiator hose clamps, and there has been a recall for some other clamp. I believe there is a throttle mapping update the dealer can do to solve that issue, good luck with yours.

More than 30 years ago, Yamaha introduced this style of motorcycle with the TDM model, which was quite misunderstood at the time. Now you can see that TDM was ahead of its time. Put some new technology and voila. Anyway, moto-guzzi made a spectacular motorcycle, Bravo.

@@droommotor in 1st place : the design of the bike , sport touring , remembers the legendary design of 80's 90's , especially I think about Kawasaki GPZ750R , the design , the bike is "different " from others , 2nd with engine layout and shaft propulsion , V liquid cooled , ... and even it is 233 wet weight , you will not feel it at all !!! sporty , very characteristic engine noise exhaust note , openening wings really protects you ( there is different opinion and suspicious think about those wings but they really protect you after some 50 km/h speed ). resuming : you know that you have something different from others and that is not meaning that it is slow ( very fast ) , torquey , fast on curves ... it is special ... it is not common... and also rare ! maybe not a perfect bike to bike in term of price but his character make it unique....

"A BMW is not a Moto Guzzi!" You bet your orange socks it isn't, mijnheer Dennis! 😂 To add all that kit as standard on the V100S, a BMW GS or RT would be hugely expensive. Great choice of new bike, a massive decision to sell all your bikes to get one. If I ever sell my Griso to do the same, I'll blame you! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🇳🇱

R 1250 RS plus 3 packets is on same price level as Mandello S. 😉

@@droommotorI guess it depends on the country. Germany I see R 1250 RS, white, 3 packs and tubular handlebars for the same seating position = 19145 and Mandello S = 18000 (same price as the place of manufacture in Italy). The price premium for power and torque strikes me as reasonable.

@@zhr3k that’s a price difference of 1100 euro. Yes you get more power but less “cool factor and character” haha but each to their own! I would prefer the R1250R above the RS

"BMW is not Moto Guzzi" I just hope it stays like this because BMW bikes are now like their cars - overpriced with poor quality. Guzzi on the other hand is all about quality and I feel that since Aprilia put their hands into engine it will be quite reliable with minimum amount of quirks 😊

They are selling really well in some parts of the world😬 the rear shock is fully adjustable so you can change them to your liking. And the gearbox gets better every mile. But some people like it some do not. They are expensive but all new bikes are, to what are you comparing it too in terms of price?

Je l'ai testé 1000 km et je me suis trouvé super. rappelez-vous que l'amortisseur arrière doit être calibré précisément en fonction de l'utilisation et de l'entretien de votre poids, et le vélo ira très bien, croyez-moi ... bien sûr, si vous êtes habitué à un moteur bmw ou japon, vous ne comprendrez jamais un moto guzzi. tu es le seul qui n'a pas bien compris...
