What a fantastic bargain these V11s are. Although a bit big and heavy, they ride like a proper Guzzi. Get the mistral’s fitted and it sounds stupendous. #motoguzzi #v11 #v11lemans
Thank you for sharing! I purchased an identical 2004 in 2006 and was blown away by the bike. (First Fuel Injected bike I ever owned.) The dumb ass that I was at that time, I sold my 1991 California III that had the wonderful 1000 cc big valve carbed Lemans motor. I thoroughly enjoyed riding this bike for 4+ years, but it was SO FUN to drive faster & faster & faster & faster that I concluded that I couldn't own it an longer as it it exceeding my riding skill level & I did not have the personal discipline to ride slower. So, I sold it and absolutely miss the thrill of riding this fine Italian ride! As I grow older, my favorite riding memories are on this V11 Le Mans to limits of my limited skills. What a wonderful bike that I wish I still had in my garage if to just admire and maybe ride responsibly on occasion , :( !! (CAN YOU TELL I MISS THIS BIKE!!!!!!!!) Buy one if you find one!
That particular red one was owned by my son actually. He decided to sell it in favour of a ducati. It made sense for him sell because he also has a KTM adventure. So the le mans was not really getting used. The V11 range is under the radar at the moment although the guzzi brand is doing rather well in new sales. Their only draw back is weight, they are hefty. But great bikes, last of the proper guzzis in my opinion.
I have an '03 Rosso Red V11 LeMans & love it. Love your Mistral setup... I've always wanted to add that same setup vs. stock. I have other bikes, but the Guzzi is special... no fancy electronics or ABS, just a motorcycle with a lot character & flair. Fun to ride too & the LeMans always gets the looks.
Over the years I have had in excess of 200 bikes, half of which have been Italians, as yet I still haven't even ridden a Guzzi. I realy must do something about that while my knees are still up to the weight.
Its been soooo long since Guzzi made anything remotely sporty that I wonder if they can still pull it off. The V100 motor must surely have more to offer, styling should be a piece of cake! The MG01 should have been the next Le Mans.
French guy here. I am about to choose between a Griso and a Norge at the end of the month, as a replacement bike for my BMW K 100 RT You do not pronunce the "S" in "Le Mans" . It's just " Le Man" Tricky frogs ...😁 Beautiful bike of yours , btw..
@@MrSebfrench76 Most in the states pronounce Norge like the refrigerator. I believe it is more like Nor Ga. An Italian says it’s Nor Jay. My California is easy. Nobody pronounces it incorrectly. What do you say? 🤓
