Just bought my Centenario. One somehow was unsold since 2021 and now it's my companion in a happy Guzzi life.

I'm off to buy my first ever Guzzi soon! what a beautiful bike. Can't decide between the Stone vs Special as of yet though haha

I'm torn, too. Now I'm leaning towards the Special because I like old school, but the Stone looks cool.

I own this bike for 3 month now and I agree, it is a beautiful bike and it is fun to ride too, but built quality is a mess. In my case, the tips of the eagles on the tank have a gap to the tank and so, it is most likely a cloth gets cought when wiping over the tank and it looks owfull. I am waiting for a replacement since I reported it 1 day after I bought it. One week after I bought it, the left rear suspension was leaking oil. I reported it and I am still waiting for the repair, as my dealer still waits for spare parts. This is a problem many of the new V7 have. I know of several others, that have the same problem with the rear suspension. 2 weeks ago another problem came up. The mode button on the right side of the handle bar got stuck when pushing it. I always had to pull it out, after pushing. That is annoying, especialy as it resets the trip A counter. My dealer could fix it with some fiddeling and spraying, but a warranty request was made too. So I am currently waiting for 3 quality issues to get fixed on a brand new bike. Besides that, it is fun riding and it is an eye catcher. Would I buy one again? For sure not. I will for sure not keep it longer than the warranty lasts. Way too risky.

Every brand have their bad apples. Whether its Yamaha or Harley. Guzzis are known for being simple to work on, and will last for a lifetime if maintained well. Having a dealer close by is the hardest feat with this brand though!

@@Skuglyft Fortunately I have a dealer very close. Unfortunately, after it has now been a while that the left back suspension has been replaced, I found my Guzzi in the garage, with a lot of oil on the reight side of the rear wheel. No the right suspension has to be replaced. it is already at the dealership. Now I have decided to sell the Guzzi and replace it with a Honda. Besides the problems with the leaking suspension and the stuck mode button, I also had problems with the throttle control getting stuck when riding in cold weather and a really bad noise coming from the front wheel (brakes or suspension) when taking her out for a ride after a few day of not riding. For the first few meters, it sounds like it is totally rusted. This bike is real garbage. I am not sure, if I should sell it to a private person as I would feel sorry for that guy. So I will give it back to the dealer, even though I will get less for it. This was my first Guzzi and for sure it was the last one.

@@ThereIsProbablyNoGod Seem like you unfortunately lucked out and got a real sour one, can happen to any brand. I know many people with thousands of Kms and old with no issues. But I know the feeling, once had an Audi which kept breaking down and that leaves a bad taste towards them for a long time. Honda is a great buy. Not the Guzzi character though 😀

@@Skuglyft I know I am not alone with this problems. There are many other owners of the new V7 with the same issues. Even my dealer has some warranty cases with the suspensions of other buyers. Luckily the dealer also sells Honda and so I will buy my Honde from him and give back the Guzzi. I will lose a lot of money by not selling it privat, but first of all I will avoid all the issues with having discussions with potential buyers and I also do not want to sell it to a person, because I will feel sorry for that poor guy. My dealer knows the history and what he does is not any more my business.
