Thank you, it took a lot of time, research and money. My next project will be the V85 TT, I’m waiting for the 2022 model year to come. Unfortunately, I run out of stuff to tinker with on my V9, I’m in “need” for an adventure bike to make my garage complete. My wife keeps telling me why do you have half a dozen bikes when you can only ride on at a time? My answer was….why do you have a drawer full of panties when you can only wear one at a time?
The v85 is a great bike. Especially with the tubeless rims. You might want to avoid the travel version. I know people have had problems with the side cases. I think I detect a slight Greek accent, might be wrong.
@@sipeb7543 I just the 2021 adventure Rosso $12k with 2.9% financing for 36 months. Not a spectacular deal but not bad either considering what they are asking for them in the used market. Anyway, 1k up or down makes no difference when you keep the bikes for 25 years like I do. Ordered the de-cat pipes from arrow and a whole bunch of goodies
@@sipeb7543 I just bought one 2021 and will be picking it up in a week. I also ordered a bunch of goodies for it including a full arrow exhaust from the headers to the muffler without the cat. I will make a video of all the mods when I finish with the bike.I never leave anything alone.....hehe
Hey, guess what's in my garage....Just picked up my 2021 Moto Guzzi V85TT Adventure. I rode it home and I absolutely love it. What a machine !!! I only rode 20 miles so far and here's what I don't like. Easier to list what I don't like or the list will be 3 miles long. Exhaust !!! Way too quiet and muffles the glorious sound of a Moto Guzzi V-twin. No worries, the entire ARROW de-cat system should be here soon. Second thing....the turn signals. Oh well, a $50 fix........and that's it. This will be another bike that I will NEVER sell. Just like my Tuono, Moto Guzzi V9 and of course the V85TT. The rest of my bikes....I think I can live without. Starting tomorrow, the V85TT is getting massive upgrades. Once done, I will make a video and list all the cross referencing on what parts from other bikes like the Aprilia and other Moto Guzzi models fit the V85TT. Cheers.
Thank you. They are very high quality. I’ll be making another video on the Denali aux lights and the GPS mounting. I should be able to make it next week
Take it easy there......I'm a busy man, my life doesn't revolve around social media, it is just two videos that I made to help others. In today's world everything is Twatter, Facebook, RU-vid, etc. My life is much better without them, I socialize with people and enjoy life, I don't hang around my phone and computer. Cheers. By the way, I really have no idea what the difference is.
Thank you Miguel. I will have to do something about those lights, I agree 100% with you. I haven't had the time to play around with it, winter, and partly because I have a new project/money pit, The New V85TT 2021 which is getting the same radical treatment. I will make a video about it when I'm done....which is almost Never because I always find something to tinker around with. The v9....I'm already at a dead end, I run out of blink parts to buy, nobody makes anything for it.
Hmmmm....Try MGcycles.com. They used to carry it. If you try hard, you'll find one. I bought a spare one off Ebay a while back. Its very unlikely that I'll use it. Look around and if in despair reach out to me.
Absolutely none, $350 no difference but it looks good, lol. I’ll be making another video soon, more stuff done to it and officially out of other ideas to tinker around with. The money pit has been closed shut. Now it’s time to put on the miles
Thank You. May I ask WHY you put the Exhaust Wrap on your exhaust?? Was it just for looks? Did it make any difference at all? Getting my first MG (new V9 Bobber) in a few days. Looking forward to it !!! Regards and Thank You. ( Australia )
Mainly looks. Once I installed the Agostini exhaust without catalytic converters or baffles my heat problems and surging went away. The bikes are fine at any temperature with the OEM exhaust but when it is super hot outside and in heavy traffic....a bit of surging at idle is evident. I did the exhaust wrap for looks. The headers on these bikes are double walled therefore, you will be fine with the exhaust heat, it is not bad at all. No performance benefits even though it feels a bit cooler. If you decide to wrap your exhaust use this brand DEI it is excellent quality. I wouldn't recommend wrapping the exhaust if you ride in the rain or the bike isn't garaged. The trapped moisture could create rust problems plus the wrap will fall apart after a couple of years. Mine was done in 2017 and it is still perfect. Still clean, no fraying no issues BUT my bike is ALWAYS garaged and not ridden in the rain. Don't do it if your bike is exposed to the weather elements, salt, rain, etc. If you need more info about anything, Email me at Theomarakas@gmail.com. Especially if you want to go crazy with customizing like I did. I can tell you what works or what doesn't. Cheers.
Baak from France. The leather quality is un-believeable. Think of the most expensive Armani jacket.....the leather on this seat is probably higher quality. Look at Baak Motocycletes they are in Lion France. You don't send them your seat, they make the entire thing using OEM seat frame which ensures perfect fitment. They have different color options and stitching patterns as well. You must condition the seat with leather conditioner every so often but DON"T GET IT IF YOUR bike in NOT GARAGED. This is not a seat for sidewalk parked bikes. I've been caught in the rain a few times, no issues. I have the seat since 2018 and it looks immaculate. However, leave it out in the elements....it will age really fast.
YES !!! Patras Achaias. WOW, that was a hell of a guess, very impressive I may add. I went to Stroubio elementary school in Patras and lived in Vrachneika., I've been here in USA for 31 years. I miss Greece. !!!!

The video comes up. I just checked it. There's only one video there, I'm not an avid RU-vidr, I just made this video and one more for other fellow Moto Guzzi riders who want to modify their bikes. I spent countless hours trying to figure out what the bike will look like with the various parts available and other mods. Many people don't want to buy expensive parts only to figure out that they don't fit or work. In fact, I've found that many of the parts aren't available anymore such as the regulator and horn cover. I'm working on my V85TT currently, it has been modified quite a bit but there's still a lot to do. I'm done with the V9, there's nothing out there for it that I can buy. Cheers !!!
@@DarrenWatson64 I don't understand....I can still see the video, still on. Now, I'm not a technology specialist or videographer, It took me forever to post that video.....so I could be wrong.
