In reverse in 2015 I really couldn't stand that Jorge took championship eventhough he had great performance that year if Marc didn't do that after Japan in Australia and specially Malaysia and defending lorenzo like bodyguard in Valencia I don't think he could be champion.(as I said his performance totally was amazing. 4 wins in a raw and totally 7 wins before valencia.

Troy Bayliss must be one of the most versatile and quickest riders of all time. I remember his win at WSBK at Hockenheim in 2000, after he'd swept all before him in BSBK.. It's a shame he didn't get a deecnt run in MotoGp, he was always good enough.

@@nathanwilliams2152 amazingly this nearly didn't happen because the story was that Paolo Ciabatti Ducati's sporting director and Claudio Dominicalli Ducati's CEO floated the idea to Livio Suppo who was at the time the team boss of Ducati's MotoGP team because Sete Gibernau was out injured. Bayliss initially said no way because he had a rough 2005 with Honda and he was very happy where he was in WSBK riding for Xerox Ducati. Bayliss then did some negotiating and said he would ride the bike at Valencia if he could bring 3 key men along with him. The 3 men in question were Ernesto Marinelli his crew chief from WSBK, Ciabatti and Davide Tardozzi who at the time was the team boss at the WSBK factory team Ducati Xerox. He nearly nicked pole as well he only missed it because of a last gasp lap from Rossi but on race day he was flawless lead from light out to finish. There was some doubt that team orders may have been initiated because Capirossi was clinging on the 3rd in the championship from Melandri but they never came.

I disagree. Nicki Hayden only won once outside of Laguna Seca - 3 total wins his entire career. His issue even during his peak years was he could ride near the front but never fast enough to consistently win races. He had one of, if not the best personality of any rider and was very talented, but maybe due to his riding style at circuits outside of the US, struggled to maintain pace through an entire race.

​@@gregoryderry857Hayden's main problem at that time was the fact that Hayden weighed more than Pedrosa Barros and Biaggi and at that time there was no limit on fuel and motorbike weight (if I'm wrong, sorry) so Hayden had to use the light setting on his motorbike so that he had enough fuel to get to the finish. This meant While at Hayden's Honda, especially after the Rossi era (2004-2008), Hayden was never able to push his motorbike to the limit and we can say that Hayden might be better than we thought, it's just that limited fuel means he has to be smart about using fuel, just look at Hayden. when splitting never open more gas

Y ahora no? Habían motos y pilotos muy malos en esos años. Estaba viendo los tiempos de clasificación y había pilotos a dos y hasta tres segundos del tiempo de la pole! Eso es una locura comparado con motoGP actual. Es un fastidio la gente que piensa que todo lo de antes era mejor y no valoran lo que vivimos ahora.
