Definitely reccomend isle of man TT if you wanna see these in person.its the closest thing to indy but 10x more dangerous. Something you wont ever forget
I would literally kill for a Petronas Limited Edition R1 with all it’s factory upgrades and modelled from the look of Quartararo’s old livery shown in this vid. Edit : Fabio’s old M1 sounded the business too!
god they sound so fing sick one of the the few motorsports ive never seen in person. closest track is COTA wish they raced in Montreal 5 hour drive. that start from petronas right in front of you would make me so so jacked up😂
And the riders back then had more skill. They didn't have all the computer technology of these bikes like holding the throttle wide open, dump the clutch and the computer kept the rear wheel from spinning or flipping the bike when launching. No anti-lock brakes, computer controlled suspension and the list goes on.
@@andreashabeck1155 P4P 2 strokes are faster just not as reliable. The 2 stokes back then where savage monsters that would fuck you up with the slightest mistake plus those bikes back then had up to 200hp (Rossi himself tuned his down to 170 because 200 was too much) weighing only 130kgs and did 200mph. That’s why they where called “the unridables” etc
This is where the difference lies between modern and old school, 500 2 strokes Today, anyone could launch one of these bikes, including me Or you with all the electronic aids Back then in the 80s or early 90s it was pure skill and sometimes those guys couldn’t get it just right ! Bring back the Unrideable 500s
DUCATI hole-shot rear damper system for starts....!!!said to be improved to be used in race for certain turns..can't wait ,could be an unfair advantage tho..!!!ahah
does anyone know if turbine engine oil (high altitude airplane/fighter jet engine oil) would cause the motor to explode of a motorbike or cause any damage to it??? well one way to find out life to do list???
