+1 on the music. I come to watch MotoGP videos partially for that beautiful sound coming from those beautiful bikes. If I wanted to listen to music, I'd turn the fucking radio on.
So glorious! This is great sound quality. Shame they never sound this great on TV, I'm always disappointed because I know V4's and Yamaha's crossplane engine sound absolutely epic in person, but for some reason they usually don't come across well on recordings. I have to make a trip to Austin or even Indy one of these years to hear these beasts for myself
i know Im randomly asking but does someone know a tool to log back into an instagram account? I somehow forgot the login password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me
Ducati s0und awes0me..super bass n crunch since l0ris/st0ner n f0rever..honda s0und like puma..very tight n fully energy s0und..yamaha got bad bad bad sound..
Adrian Barnard I really listen to this shit every night. Fiancé thinks I'm nuts! I rock a Aprilia Tuono V4 with with SC Titanium exhaust...hard to beat it.
Do they use launch control? IF they do I noticed they just dumped the clutch and just went off. But on the HP4 and new R1, you had to slip the clutch a bit. Perhaps their launch control is more advanced.
Kinda sounds like a combination of f1 and nascar...or what an f1 v8 would sound like if it was crossplane...funny how in road use v8s are usually crossplane and i4s are flatplane...but for circuit racing f1 uses v8 flatplane and motogp uses i4 crossplane...so they pretty much switched sounds...or as it would appear to a normal bystander who knows nothing about engine crank
Probably the best raw motogp-footage on the tube:) hope to see more from the upcoming sepang-tests. Hope you can capture some more footage of the bikes, especially the hondas, braking in to turn 1, from the same location you had at the end of this video:) That downshifting sounds just incredible. Who did the 2 powerwheelies from the pits in the first half of the video btw? I cant recognize the bike nor the sound. Sounds more like moto2 but i didnt think they participated in the sepang-tests??
The pit lane wheelie boys were the Avintia (Kawasaki powered) riders, Barbera and Di Meglio, 70% of the times they were exiting the pit lane on one wheel :)) I'll be at the test 2 also this year, 23 to 26 February and I'll do my best once again ;-)
Tabo19rider thanx for the info:) That were some insane wheelies:) I have been on site at the barcelona race the last 3 years, and last year, at least 20 of the moto2 riders exited the pits in that matter for the sightinglap:) it was like a total mayhem hehe.
Sorry for stupid question, i've never seen how they start engines for bikes. It sounds awesome, looks cool, but why do they start it like that? I mean, they dont have a starter or what? And how do they do it? I just wanna know.. ;/
It just to spinning your wheel and you just need to drop in the gear , you can try to your bike by just pushing it and drop in gear .. But in may be harm to your bike
***** for SBK I'll do it as soon as I go to a test of them, during racing weekends I can't. Moto 2 sound??! My hypermotard sounds hundreds time better man.
IMO moto 2 sounds like shit, can't stand that high pitch bee fart generic inline 4 sound. i like the base and ferocity of motogp, you need good speakers or hear it in person to appreciate it. saw them run side by side, the motogp bike drowned out the sound of the moto 2,made it sound even weaker and crappier.
well you are one of the very few, I actually know of no one who actually likes the sound of 600cc i4. I like Aprilia rsv4 and Yamaha R1 sounds. you should give them a listen sometime here on RU-vid. hear a cross plane crank and you will never look back.
+Fadzli Faudzi cross plane crank and v4s sound like high reving v8 with base(Need good speakers/headphones), no one in moto gp uses twins anymore. Ducati uses v4, no v twin. The v4 revs to 15k+, sounds very good i4 cross plane crank GP Yamaha sounds insanely good. normal i4 especially 600cc, can't stand them, they sound annoying and tinny and weak.
