With great surprise, private MotoGP and Moto2 tests took place today on the Mugello circuit. The Italian Grand Prix will take place on Sunday, June 2, and this day is an excellent opportunity for the teams to test new components/settings and prepare for the upcoming race. Four teams were present: Yamaha, with official riders Fabio Quartararo and Alex Rins; Aprilia, with rider Lorenzo Savadori; Honda; and Ducati. The latter is carrying out tests with the MotoE. While on the circuit lawns, I witnessed no laps of the Honda riders, Luca Marini and Joan Mir. Since the tests will also take place tomorrow, I imagine they will be present on the track with long sessions on Wednesday, 15 May. It is truly spectacular to see these very powerful bikes in the Mugello circuit's splendid acoustics; I was impressed by the crazy speed on the straight. Enjoy! 😉
Con grande sorpresa oggi sul circuito del Mugello si sono svolti dei test privati MotoGP e Moto2. Il gran premio italiano si disputerà Domenica 2 Giugno e questa giornata è un'ottima occasione per i team di testare nuovi componenti/settaggi e prepararsi all'imminente gara. Quattro le squadre presenti, Yamaha con i piloti ufficiali Fabio Quartararo ed Alex Rins, Aprilia con il pilota Lorenzo Savadori, Honda e Ducati. Quest'ultima sta eseguendo delle prove con la MotoE. Durante la mia permanenza sui prati del circuito non ho assistito a nessun giro dei piloti Honda, ovvero Luca Marini e Joan Mir. Siccome i test si svolgeranno anche nella giornata di domani, immagino che saranno presenti in pista con lunghe sessioni Mercoledì 15 Maggio. Devo dire che è davvero spettacolare vedere queste potentissime moto nella splendida acustica del circuito del Mugello; sono rimasto davvero impressionato dalla velocità sul rettilineo, pazzesca.
