Not a fan of the cheap plastic hard cases from most tools. They tend to get brittle during our Canadian winters and if not secured enough will shatter when off pavement.
Good to know. I did find the plastic clasps fairly fragile and can see them breaking in the cold pretty quickly. When the case inevitably fails, I will move the tool to the main toolbox.
