Two motors (one Nema 17, one Nema 23) following the same commands, but at different speeds, amperage, and directions.

The one on the right is your extruder motor?

Former extruder motor. I presently use larger motors, but the control methodology is the same and is what is important. I'll make a real video about this when I can. This moment in this video was a big deal for me, but I need to provide context.

nice! excuse me how did you get that movement?, is it possible to do that in ramps?

I would imagine so, but I've never used ramps. Presently, I'm using a Duet control board and RepRap firmware.

Do you have a git repository with the code , to clone it if possible ?

I'm sorry, this was four years ago, I'm no longer using these motors, this control board, or this firmware. These days I'm using the Duet 3D control board and RepRap firmware, and all the tools I need are already present in those platforms.

@@TomLauerman Thank you for the info. Would you happen to have some links or pointers on clay 3d using Duet 3D and RepRap firmware. We were using the Marlin firmware but when I read your article I think it makes sense what you said, we have the two systems the clay system and the nozzle ( 3d printer ) but reading your article I have realized the systems do not need to talk to each other they just need to be "synchronized" in stop, start and velocity . Is that assumption correct ?

@@carontheus thanks for the follow up. Which article of mine are you referencing? I did write up some thoughts about controlling motors in this synchronized way here: tomlauerman.com/blog/2018/12/5/3d-printing-in-clay-using-a-synchronized-mechanical-feed-and-auger-extruder

This would probably be a good subject for a future video, now that I think about it

Was going to compile RepRap using the changes in this file you mention www.reprap.org/wiki/File:DiamondRepetierConfiguration.h
