In this video I will show you how I made a motor speed controller for my Sony Cassette-corder TCM-939. The circuit is a common design that uses a 555 timer chip to produce pulse width modulation. Examples can be found in the links below. I show you the stripboard layout I used, how I modified the cassette-corder and demonstrate how the unit works.
