Kyle you too are an amazing kind person, so it doesn't surprise me you have met people like the farmer today and the many others you've encountered on your many adventures. Goodness attracts goodness and you are an example for all of us. Thank you so much.
That is true Kulas, lots of Filipinos and other nationalities are afraid to go to MINDANAO. I was assigned in different places of MINDANAO because of INSURGENCY.To defend the GOVERNMENT and the FLAG of the PHILIPPINE ISLAND.I am so proud of you because of your strong personality and ready to accept challenges in life... Thank you so much for sharing the continuing information dissemination about the WONDERFUL NATURE of the PHILIPPINE ISLAND.Have a good one KULAS, from ONTARIO PROVINCE CANADA.
You and pin pin kulas are the best vloggers in the philippines because you talk and interact with the locals and makes me proud as a filipino. Thank you for the daily vlogs 👍😁
Kulas, you are my best you tuber in the Philippines. I have learned a lot and seen so many nice places from your videos. The story about the farmer you met made me sad, but he is still a fighter and not giving up. By the way, I love the background music! Thanks again and wishing you the best this year and always!

Very raw footage (in a positive way) and also excellent story telling! You really capture the emotions of the locals and their everyday life. And also as you said, the Lake was beautiful but the people around it are even more. Very inspiring. Thanks ....you really made my day....... Keep on posting.........From Bay area California (also currently freezing)
wow it was so emotional hearing about the man who beat cancer, thanks for showing the ordinary people of the country that make it what it is, an incredible place with incredible people
You're making me homesick again, dhong Kulas you are just a good man to the core, and so fortunate to be able to do your thing, travel all over Philippines ,and meeting all those smiling friendly Filipinos, tasting local delicacies, foods etc ,what a life! I wanna be you👌👌👌👍😍😍😍😍😍
Prior your mentioning about Manong Salem, I was a little bit teary eyed. Mr. Holmes was right that GOODNESS ATTRACTS GOODNESS,.. and that GOODNESS BEGETS GOODNESS. Manong Salem was indeed a good person, thus, he was given goodnes --- winning against cancer. You, Kulas for the longest time is a good person, thus, you''re blessed. A bit of info: For two summer camps 1994 & 1995 (during my 4th and 5th year at University of San Carlos, Cebu City)I was in Agusan Del Sur, particularly from among the SVD fathers. On my first summer camp I stayed at Santa Josefa, Agusan del Sur, where a wide banana plantation is located. And in my second I with the Tibal Filipino Apostolate in Langgasian (a Manobo village) then to Trento, Agusan del Sur where I finally put into writing my personal experiences. All throughout these 2 summer camps people of eastern Mindanao ( I also went to Surigao and davao provinces) where extremely accommodating ( letting us try local foods such as python's and salimbugok's meat --giant bat) and even giving us the chance to have a courtesy call with Supreme Datu Tagleong. Yet always, have reliable CONTACTS in the area ( in my case, the SVD Fathers). YAHWEH's graces and wisdom for this new year 2019!!!
Uploading all these contents takes time and hard-work so in return for the effort we turned off our add blockers to watch the ads to show love for the channel. Any 20 min+ videos about secluded and unexplored areas of the Philippines especially Mindanao really satisfy my wonderlust. Your work and positivity is always appreciated Kulas :)
I really love your videos I will be in the Philippines February 20th keep an eye out for me kulas I will try and visit if only shortly I can’t wait super 🤚 and looking forward to eating Filipino food again
You know Kulas as a Filipino myself is that we only needs respect and we can do the rest, money is not everything it is only something, keep it up go and find Kumar for without that guy something will be missing on your journey. Thanks a lot and take good care as always.
You're awesome kulas! More power to you, Thank you for showing our country's beauty. To be honest you are more filipino than most of other filipinos specially here in manila. Keep it up man have a safe trip always. As a full blood filipino you are welcome here in the Philippines, foreigner like you with filipino heart should be awarded with a medal or plaque of appreciation! You the best man! Hope to see you on the road sometime. Keep safe

Kyle, thanks for this such wonderful video, showing the kindness and plain generosity of spirit from people you meet and the amazing connection you established with them. Made me cry when you told about the farmer who overcame the difficulty he had in beating cancer. Such an indomitable faith and strength of character. Thanks so much for sharing, Kyle.
man, what a dream it is for me to travel with you, Kuya Kulas! Your open-mindedness and your joy for life is rare. The inspiration that you describe about the places and the people you meet is contagious. Learning from you and the grateful attitude you practice as you travel in the Philippines. Maybe that, in it and of itself, is like meeting you already!
The only foreign youtuber in philippines that mostly interact with locals most of the time while experiencing their own culture's and discovering new things na kahit ako nagulat din sa mga nadiscover nya. A friendly and jolly man. God bless you more.

Hi kulas. There's a fun way of eating sayongsong. Tilt your head and put unwrapped sayongsong on top of your mouth, shake it like a tail of a lizard while you start eating it the tail...
I'm from Cagayan de Oro City too just like Kulas. We feel much safer because of martial law. It's summer time again and always looking forward for visiting new places around the Philippines especially in Mindanao. I will also follow the same route you had Kulas with this vlog with my bike. You are so fun to watch in that cold foggy climb! The lake is better left in that pristine state with flora and fauna flourishing instead of turning into another fishfarm. Your emphaty to Salim is so touching and speak well of your pure heart and character. Thank you so much Kyle.
God bless you Kyle. That truly is a heart warming story of winning the battle and, be left in debt but still be a dignified person after everything. Hope you do come back for him and give him a nice surprise.
Be it for a Reason..a Season..or a Lifetime.. people come into our lifes and bless us with their experiences. Salim is no wonder therefore and getting to know him through these Vlogs is just as inspiring to all here..as much as its been to you Kyle. And to know there are people like him and tht unalloyed goodness still exists even as far away from the madding crowds, fills one with renewed hope ! Cheers to this feeling alone if not any other ! I have seen a couple of your videos here since september last year. My first impression to you was your name Kulas, because that name (Kulas) signifies the innocence, Purity and Simplicity of heart as filipino context. Your filipino code name (Kulas) perfectly match with your personality as a friendly and simple guy. Your lovely Smile all the time in front of your camera made us growing closer to you. You are such a great man and Authentic person...God bless and Keep up the good work in you..

Thank you for showing us the beauty of our own country and people. A lot of times even us Filipinos forget who we are and what we should be proud of as a culture. There are many many social ills that plague our country, but there is sooo much more good and beautiful things in the Philippines than there are bad. THANK YOU for shining a light on the good and positive, and for warming our heart with every vlog you post. You are more Filipino at heart than most of us ever will be! Mabuhay Kulas!
