Motorcycle chain maintenance

Just got my pan am, thank you for sharing!

I put it in gear and use a power washer. Then spray down the chain with lube. (If you have a power washer.)

Would you happen to know what are other specs for sprockets and chain sizes we can use beside HD OEM specs? HD - OEM specs: Chain Size: 530 Chain Links: 128 Front Sprocket/Pulley Teeth: 19 Rear Sprocket/Pulley Teeth: 48

so i done my chain tension yesterday moved it 2 flats as u would say n it was tight enough and in spec and then torq axle back to 100lbs and rode liken 40miles or so and chain is loose again any ideas ? thanks in advice

How many miles can I get out of my Chain on my PAS? I currently have 10 k miles on my original chain now. In June I will be heading to Dead Horse Alaska . Was wondering if I should change my chain before do my 6-7 k mile trip.
