Motorcycle Destination: Beartooth Highway. The Beartooth Highway is located on RT 212 and is approximately 54 miles long. It will take you through Montana and Wyoming along the Beartooth Mountains. You will get the experience of winter along the way with all the snow. The views are breathtaking and the ride is epic. The highest peak at Beartooth Pass is at 10,947 ft and passes through portions of Custer, Shoshone, and Gallatin national forests. It does! Glad I was able to finally ride it. Wish we could of rode to Red Lodge but we were lucky to travel as far as we did.

Man, I remember that vividly. We went from a sunny, clear, beautiful day to having a snowball fight to getting pelted by the Hail‼️ Thank Goodness we were able to make it to the lodge and take cover. Great video.

Yeah the sound of the hail hitting me was so loud. I felt like I was gonna get frostbite but luckily we found shelter and coffee at a shop.

WOW!!! We love this road. We were wondering how open it is after the flood. Only ridden one time ( up and back from Red Logde) Absolutely one of the best roads we've been on. Damm Hail on the mountain. "Not Good" Glad you made it down safely.

I was wearing a T-Shirt on the way up then jacket on the way down. The temperature dropped so quickly. I wish we could of went to Red Lodge but happy we got to ride as much as we did. Definitely an amazing road🤙✌

I will be riding this bucket list ride to Sturgis 2023. Cant wait to see the view from the top and hope the weather holds out as I see how fast it can change. This is also why i wear a full face helmet..... hail hurts 😄

Yes it does! I love capturing the whole area as I'm riding. That was the coldest I'd ever been on the bike. I thought my knees were going to get frostbite😂🥶

Rockslides are scary I hate riding by them myself I think the same as you - the "what if's" Haha never heard you with a potty mouth but ya hail sucks - try that in a half helmet. It feels like glass cutting the skin. NICE video Randy, love the way you can capture it all

It's an amazing ride for sure. The weather can turn on a dime up there, as you found. Bummer on your timing and not getting to go to red lodge.

@@SinisterClutch - Ya. Always worth a trip back. I know the timing was close. I swear I saw a bike just like yours, with a 360 cam on it, on 287 north of West Yellowstone towards the end of June on my way out that direction. Would be interesting to know if we rode by and waved at each other.

@@DeweyRides I don't remember being on 287. I was in Cody for a few days then headed to St Mary in Montana. I did make my way back to Cody after going to MT. It could of been possible
