Will this work to add miles to my harley?? I bought a used harley in california with 1000 miles but can't register it until it has 7500 was wondering if I can use this tool to add those miles to the speedometer
I have a buell 2008 1125r . Can I use it on my bike? I bought a Donner bike for the motor. It's back together, but it's showing a theft code on my IC. Can I use this to link my ECM and IC together? AND clear my IC out
Is it possible to make changes to the odometer from miles to kilometers using this scanner and can the lighting options be switched from the US version to the EU version on a Harley Davidson motorcycle?
I am not a mechanic so I did not mess with the ABS part but it does have functionality related to ABS and someone else claimed you can bleed the ABS with it in a video. The instructions don't go into that level of its capabilities and I don't want to misrepresent something I can't test so I did not go into details on that. Like I said I think it may be of value to someone that works on bikes for money. If I get the chance to work with it more and find out it can do these things then I may do a follow up video. Thanks for the feedback.
It definitely cannot cycle ABS for brakes fluid flush on a Harley. I have an email from manufacturer stating that it does not and that the function in the menu is a mistake and they claim they're going to remove that from the menu in future update. I returned the unit I bought. It took over a Month to get refund.
Charlie, in addition to Sam saying it won't activate ABS pumps on Harley, it also won't do it on my BMW either. I got mine for only $100 (had to pay import duties only) and it still wasn't worthwhile for me, but your results may vary.
@@RidingintheOzarks ok thanks. Seen one review where the guy said it wanted fee to scan after one year. I was also having a little trouble Discerning between Europe and USA on some reviews. Thing is I've already bought it so I'm into it I want to be able to flush my ABS brakes on my own. Friend of mine went to Harley dealer to flush the clutch and ABS brakes and they quoted him over $800. Then he called me to see if I would do it for him because I am mechanically and electronically skilled on manufacturing environment type machinery. So I can get around working on the Harley fairly well. I think it was I'll buy this tool charge my little buddy got the box and by the time I use it he uses it should pay for itself right? I watched another RU-vid video on another channel that said it would activate the abs system so you could bleed your break. He was wrong. I wish I would have seen your video before I watched his. It will let you Diagnose the abs system but it will not Activate the abs system
Sorry you didn’t find my video first, I try and use a product for several weeks before I’ll do a review because sometimes it’s hard to realize what all it will, or won’t do if you rush into making your review too quickly.
