This is a video tutorial from Biker's Toolbox. It is the first in a new series we are producing explaining how to repair and restore motorcycle wiring.
Excellent & very informative I have searched everywhere for the answer to my question what size wire do I need to splice my ignition cable on my 2004 Bonneville need to extend it 100mm for a relocation.I will definitely be buying some items on your site soon.I do hope there is more toolbox tuitions soon .
Can you explain how to use ACF50 corrosion block grease (or electrical silicone compound) for example to reduce potential corrosion in a 3 way 6.3mm block connector? I'm guessing it applied to the external plastic of the connector and not the cables or metal male/female terminals? Many thanks.
Hi do you have any idea why all my motorbike lights work when engine on and in natural but when I put it in gear doesn't matter what other gear all light turn off. Thanks
Thanks Ralph I'm just about to order some terminal blocks from you for my Triumph America's light bar which has been PVC insulation wrapped!!! argh!!! It also has a bullet connector on one (the Earth) of the wires out of the three in the lightbar look terminal block which connects to the bikes accessory terminal block and I can't seem to find the small connectors that Triumph use in their terminal blocks so I thought I would change the blocks completely, that unless you have can advise otherwise as I'm really reluctant to cut the terminal off the bikes loom.
