People often stop in the crosswalk to be able to see not realizing that you have to stop before, then move forward to see. Thanks for pointing that out. Your voice is always in my head "look where you want to go" 😄

yes so true!!! sometimes I wonder if people have just forgotten that is the correct way or if they are just lazing out? lol. "look where you want to go" hee hee hee. Those were the best words of advice I recall receiving from my riding instructors that still sticks in my head...in addition to "trust your rubber" (I am hoping they meant the tires lmao). seriously, both of those things have saved my a$$ a few times when I was toodling along a bit too quickly for a curve...eeeeek! but words of gold!!

I've been riding with friends that are horrible at u-turns and it makes it unsafe for everybody else. Good video

Thanks for the comment and the watch - U-turns seem to be one of those things that so many riders can't or don't want to do. When I was learning I despised doing them but now I challenge myself to get them tighter and tighter just to prove a point to myself lol

You are so good at these videos! I am jealous!!! You make me want to quit motovlogging and take up golf.... haha.. Great video and very cool of you to make these. I'm sure that these vids help more people than you know. Another A+ Motovlogo rated video... :)

Another extremely informative and well presented video...... I ride across the city nearly daily, and I agree with the two stops, at a junction and having to check for bikes and pedestrians (You have to do that in Portland because of the amount of people/bikes). What do you think about that when there's a lot of traffic? I've noticed I have to inch forward across the white line (after bike and peds check) at the junction slowly (like walking the bike on the MSF), because if I set off quick, the Driver behind me can easily assume I'm setting off and then stop looking..and inch forward thinking I've already gone. I've noticed this happen behind me a lot of times, so I inch forward now when crossing the crosswalk part of the junction. Not critiquing anything about your video at all...just saying something I've noticed in busy city traffic.

Thanks again for the watch and awesome feedback :). Absolutely agree with you about the creeping forward so drivers behind you don't think you are about the proceed fully forward! Such a good point - I have a "where to stop" episode on my planning list - would love to include your comment and suggestion in it as I think you are spot on! :D It is definitely tougher in heavy traffic situations and IMHO there are often times that reality may trump ideal I think. Makes for the need to be able to make some split decisions quickly to stay safe!

At 3:55, Can I turn right when the vehicle on left lane of the road that I was turning into was NOT far enough from me, such as 10 to 20 meters away?
