Good video about lane positioning. Always try to be away from big oncoming vehicles as well as big vehicles travelling in the same direction. Since you seem interested in motorcycle traffic skills and technique, I will suggest an excellent book if you haven't already read it. Proficient Motorcycling by David Hough. It's available in electronic form as well. I have it on my iPad. Excellent reading.
I really enjoy these videos. I used to ride more than 20 years ago, in the Himalayas. I am planning on getting my motorcycle license i Ontario and getting something like a Royal Enfield classic.
Interesting and useful video. I am just a Noob rider, practicing for my road test in Alberta. I'll be honest though ... that constant P1 - P3 - P1 switching looks like a bit of a pain. I think for "real life" riding ... on the type of road you were on ... I'd be tempted to just stay in P3 a lot more. I realize this is probably "wrong," but at this point ... I'm trying to be cognizant of "test gameification" vs. practical / safe driving. (As another example, in real life, in my car, I hardly need to look at my speedometer because I am just driving with traffic flow and according to following distance of the vehicle ahead. But for testing, you probably will fail if you are speeding by even 5 km/h).
Superb, informative videos. But people are going to copycat your moves (the u turn ish thing with no full stop) and perhaps fail their test if the examiner gives them freedom. You had a nice video on u turns too.
First Name Last Name Thanks for dropping in First Name Last Name ☺ - this is why it is so important that people read through their respective riding manuals depending what province/state etc they are from since the rules of the road and techniques may differ for each. Here is BC one does not need to come to a full stop for the U Turn providing all the proper steps are done - this may indeed differ depending where one is! Thanks again and thanks for watching 😃
