Your observation regarding the negativity of the media is spot on! The less we listen to them and engage more with nature the better off we are! I loved seeing the sheep. my grandmother raised sheep in Ireland in a setting very similar on Clare Island! Absolutely gorgeous!

That´s why I don´t watch TV .... Important or relevant news always reach me,sooner or later. My world is happier that way

The great thing about motorcycles is you never get lost, you just discover new and usually better and longer ways of getting from one place to another and then back again. Lovely footage.

I'm just back from going around The Mull of Kintyre, loads of quiet coastal B roads, cracking campsites and absolutely jaw dropping stunning scenery .

I particularly appreciated your commentary on how the world and people are not as bad as social and regular media make things out to be. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed at the time and it was comforting to hear your take on things. I never knew how little I knew about how fantastic Scotland is. I'm loving the education. Thank You! Thank you Kevin for taking the time and trouble to make these videos, it's such a treat to join you on your adventures. My parents used to take us on several holidays a year in the 50's and early 60's Scotland was always on the list of places to go, took my Dad hours to drive from Brum, no motorways then.

Arran is beautiful. I've been around it on MTB many times, on a 125cc, driven around it in my mini cooper. It's a magical place. I just need to find the £300k to buy one of those bungalows on the sea shore.

Your musing about riding your particular bike model simply because you like it and despite the detractors, reminds me of my parents. They own three different Harley-Davidsons, all softails. Also despite the objections of many other motorcycle riders in their lives.

Looked like there was some interesting history to read about them. I was concerned at you leaving the bike, but as you said, it was remote. Kevin, you are so right about how "the media" promotes fear and negativity, and yet when you turn off "the media" and just go about the world around you and the people along the way... things are far better than portrayed. I noticed that a couple of times you broke briefly into the Scottish brogue ("wee bridge" and "doon t'tha groon")... I'm wondering if being in a location influences the way we speak? Thanks for the tour... thoroughly enjoyable!

Just returned to my N Irish home from 4 days in the Oxfordshire/Cotswolds area on my hard-tail HD trike. I thought it was gorgeous there (so it was) but you've inspired me to broaden my horizons a little further to the rugged North of Scotland and her islands. I discovered last week that I had actually forgotten how the menu on my TV works because I spend free time watching creators like you. The purr of the GS is no substitute for the putt-putt of Aslan though ( maybe you could dub it over the soundtrack??)!! Keep the shiny side up - and thank you.

Hi Kevin I can think of no other way to describe this video other than stunning... Since day one I have watched your videos and looked at the comments made about them ???? I honestly can say that I have never read so many positive comments about your videos. It shows that you must be doing something right.. Yesterday I dragged my old Harley out and went for a ride around the Brecon beacons...all I got from the neighbours was are you mad riding a bike at your age.???? For the life of me I don't know just what age has got to do with This I renewed my license at seventy and will do it again at 75...I am getting fed up with people trying to run my life for me.. This is why I chose to remain on the canals when my parents passed away all those years ago. Born and bought up on a narrow boat and never had some one telling me to stop enjoying my life.??? If it wasn't for me becoming unable to operate lock's I definitely would not of sold up and moved of the canal system. I noticed that you mentioned peoples views on what is happening in the UK... All I can say is that I'm glad I don't own a telivision and have never bought a newspaper..I was once told that no news is good news. How very true that saying is. I just wish that people would stop telling me about someone else's comment on the TV or in a newspaper... People seem to have no thoughts of Thier own these days.. about anything at all. Anyway brother stay safe and and above all stay well.. watch out for the idiots that have a nasty habit of pulling out of a junction right in front of you...???. As no doubt you have experienced.on your travels on a motorbike.

I tour the Highlands annually and use campsites along the NC500 ; most of the bikers that use that route have little time to admire the scenery due to the speeds they ride. I like your attitude of cruising whilst taking in all that most of Scotland has to offer. And I’m from Wales !!!

You are so right about the media trying to make us think everything is awful! When you interact with real live humans, you find that most folks are just living life on the daily. I certainly don’t have time for the drama anymore. (Leaves more tine for knitting!)
