Question 3.6 Pentastar. How does the oil in the filter Lube the top of the motor during start up? It takes oil pressure from the oil pump into the filter to send that oil to the top of the motor.

How much faster is the full iil flow in top of 3.6 L Jeep JK? You mention the time with stock equipment is 3.5 seconds. How long does it take with the Baxter Performance modification?

This goes to show the auto just doesn`t care about the longevity of there vehicles as long as it makes it past warranty there happy because they are in the market to sell vehicles and the longer it last you won`t replace the one you have .So they replace a tried and true filter system that`s been around for over 50 years and replace it with a plastic piece of junk that just fails .So you spend $50,000 on a vehicle and if you want it to be reliable and last you are forced to spend more money replacing parts that are crap ..Way to go Fiat Chrysler building vehicles with accessories no one wanted or needed just to increase the price of vehicles like TMPS and stop/start technology which everyone turns off as soon as possible . You need to take a look at what made Henry Ford famous the model T a car that everyone could AFFORD .

Not really. All they needed is to add an anti drain back valve, like they have on some similar German car systems. Plus the system featured here is sort of a scam as well. They simply moved the problem a few inches up, because the area below the filter will still drain. So you basically end up with a shot of oil (the amount that the spin-on filter holds) and a large empty cavity behind it. Now one may argue that this may help a little bit, but still this is far from a real solution. It may be a great money maker for Baxter though. I wish I had thought of it.

Very nice. The Toyota OEM oil filter "system" of the 2012 Prius is beyond ridiculous. I'm interested in either a replacement of the existing plastic cap & cartridge OEM system (to a screw on filter system) or more desired to me, a remote system altogether.

What about the 2gr 3rd gen tacoma I'm considering getting one of these but concerned about the amount of pressure going from canister to the spin on Baxter unit. Have you done oil pressure testing?

There is no problem with you oil system. Why do you see one now? Crooked companies create fake problem to sell bs parts to people who don't know any better.
