We get the dreaded airbag light come on our Peugeot boxer based motorhome!!! We spoke to Chris @northenautotech and they sort it the same day big thanks to @KissisAdventures for there information about Northen Autotec.
Hi Rob, we too had the dreaded airbag light come on when leaving our last pitch in Cardigan South Wales a few weeks ago. We had our Bailey Autograph 2 749i (2019) booked in for its MoT on 22 May 2024, so we had to get the Airbag ECU fixed so we took it off and from your info for Carl at Northern Tech through eBay, (B0100 fault code on our reader). We sent it off on Tuesday 14th May and got it back the following Tuesday 21st May 24. We refitted and all was well, so we were able to keep the MoT date, all passed yesterday 23rd May 24, many thanks again for the info, very useful regards Chris & Deborah
Glad you got it sorted , this may help someone in the future. I just got my module back from crash data code B0100, 3 days posting to getting it back fixed. great company to deal with. They even informed me that my module set the code at 7.9 volts so now I always keep a voltage display plugged in to the cigarette lighter when its left for a while and if it is below 12 dont try to start it. take it off and charge it. A mechanic friend of mine also advised me that if the battery is of the van for a while to make sure the battery posts and clamps are really clean to get a good connection as if you get that clicking of the solenoid through bad battery connection that will set a code in the module again .
We had so many airbag light issues with the old Kia Sedona we used as a micro-campervan. Never really sorted it in our case. Warm wishes from Millionaire Paul 👋
Hi Just had my airbag module replaced by Adams Morey, Portsmouth. Fiat main dealer. They said they won't recommend repairing it. Replacing it will give you a 2 year warranty. Good luck!
@tonywhite6985 Not only do they replace the module, they also have to program it using their software. Repairing does not guarantee it will work, if it does for how long as others have experienced.
Hi Hannah. Happy to tell you how much I paid at Adams Morey. £535 including VAT and the code faults have to be cleared and reprogrammed. with a 2 year warranty. Clive. @@Hannah-zi2qm
