If you get an unexpected alarm going off while using 12v from the panel, or while hooked up to a mains supply, it could be from a factory fitted gas sensor.
This video shows where you’re likely to find it. Then you need to figure out why it’s going off.
My problem was a short circuit within a leisure battery, boiling off hydrogen gas.
