Quite informative lads 👏🏻👍🏻 everything is going up in price especially fuel prices so could this curtail peoples interest , I hope not but things may get very tight
Great video as always. We were looking to get a new motorhome but we're going to leave it now for a few years until the prices settle down. Keep up the good work!
Trouble is it’s the public that is really suffering as there are some dealers that have put up the prices wile it’s sat on their forecourts as you say but it’s the public pay the price and the dealers make more profit for really nothing. 🤷🏼♂️ very informative thanks for the video 👍
Jason - i think it's a cool way to show trends, patterns and overall standing of the Motorhome Market. Keep up the fab work, you and your staff all do, greatly appreciated.
@@TheMotorhomeMan I look forward to visiting you, likely in the Spring for a mooch around. Who knows, you might be able to sell me a decent Motorhome hehe. Take care.
Jason, not much stock where I live. We visited a dealership who had no new motorhomes for viewing and wanted to sell us one out of a brochure? The other dealership I rang because the model we were after was supposedly in stock & available for viewing, when I rang I was told it wasn't, the girls in IT had loaded it on the website by mistake! Took my name and number and said they would ring back, I'm currently still waiting for that phone call. Found a dealership in West Sussex who couldn't have been more helpful, had a model in stock said they would keep it until we viewed it because we are three hours away. We viewed it and didn't like it that much when we actually went inside. However I'm happy to report we found a different model we really liked and bought it, hopefully we will be the proud owners in December.
It’s good to have a monthly update Jason👍 your right new prices are going up I was looking at two new vans in September on the new fiat chassis 8 in October the list price went up around 7 percent and the dealer said they may be more price rises to come glad I got my order done in September strange times we all live 🤔
Another great vlog team. It is always interesting and very helpful to hear your views on the various vans. The prices section is also helpful and you should carry on. Not sure if Eric and Ernie or Laurel and Hardy are the best nicknames but you two certainly entertain.
A lot of inflation in the cost of living may be this won't come to much I wonder if prices will stay strong as they are artificially high manus not building due to lack of demand Lots of people may want to holiday in all inclusive sun in 2022 and sell there motorhomes I recon there may be a crash in the prices
Jason and team Good video and I really like the analysis of the market and prices so please keep it up. Did you mention the importance of draining Truma boilers as well as tanks? Glad to see that with all the shortages in the supply chain for new builds that they are still fitting steering wheels otherwise your videos would have less report in future 😂 BW Paul
Hey, that motorhome at the end looked like it had left hand steering...I WANT IT!! Please ship it over here ASAP! The States are sold out, even with their crazy high prices.
Hi Jason. Great video and nice to see updates on how prices are going. I agree with Brian From Brisbane about the stock on your website. I like the look of the 2012 Peugeot Campervan in this video but i cannot find it on the website. Is it available? Thanks and keep up the good work.
@@TheMotorhomeMan Hi and thank you for the reply. When you get a chance could you please send me some more info on the van and more pics or video? I understand it's a busy time for you and i appreciate your help. Regards Steven
Really interesting Jason! Looks like if we did want to replace the van with new at 3 years old we probably need to order soon and it’s only a year old now! If new stock is taking that long to get in! I’ve heard of people buying used to tide them over because dealers keep pushing back, someone we know from the elddis Facebook group still hasn’t got their new van which was due in March 😳
Good informative video, still find dealers offer low trade prices in yet complain about low stock , so not easy to exchange when offered low price against a part ex on over inflated retail great video 👍
The dealer told me all new 2022 models are going to be subject to a substantial price increase, me thinks a lot of people are in for a shock. Also the manufacturers are not going to be able to provide sufficient new motorhomes to the dealerships so not only are prices going up substantially for 2022 models there isn't going to be enough to go round so as a result of this pre owned motorhomes will become more valuable in my opinion.
I fully get supply and demand. Why on earth some people are willing to pay such ridiculous prices especially for a 25 year old Talbot or French garbage is beyond me. Someone said that the prices are going so let's all rush to buy. You don't 'need' a motorhome. FOOLS!!!
Hi guys, hope you are all well. If they're putting unfinished vans into showrooms, prospective buyers won't be impressed or assured of quality levels. For some makes 60k for an unfinished product? I'd be going German. Thanks for sharing.
Jason does a fantastic job of getting these motorhomes ready and good reviews, good to see Kev in the videos too with his vast knowledge of campervans ( pay me later Kev)
Oh, I forgot to mention on my previous message that I like Kev's comments and on-camera appearances. However, sometimes his comments are very hard to hear due to him being behind the microphone. Perhaps you need to invest in a microphone kit such as RODE to pick up sounds from the both of you. Thanks.
How do you see the global shortage of "chips" for vehicles and electronic components impacting on moho supply chain. Vehicle manufacturers cant produce complete vehicles, converters can't get vehicle to convert etc, etc. Seems like the perfect storm and cant see it improving anytime soon. Then theirs Brexit and import taxes for componets is that the reason for such large price increases. Thanks
motorhome panic buyers now .The prices are ridiculous because of it . houses are cheaper to buy than some of these new van conversions and motorhomes for 2021/22 , motorhome holiday parks are overflowing and fully booked for most of the season , more and more places are putting a stop to overnight stays and wild camping , Fuel and gas prices going through the roof with not much chance of dropping, Electric motorhomes are now starting to come into production with batterys getting better each year . Traffic conjestion is getting unbearable , residents like on the NC500 routes are sick to the back teeth of motorhomes/ campervans , supermarkets putting up height barriers so only cars can get under . Its all causing one big knock on effect . yet the panic buyers are happy to pay more than double evn treble of what they are actually worth . i can see a lot of cheap vans coming up in the not too distant future and a hell of a lot of un happy people way way out of pocket .
