Not just in your industry in mine too, just had the highest grossing November in almost 20 Years in business. Savvy buyers recognising that things are not going to be normal for a long time and buying up our 2022 stock well ahead of the season.

It's the same in many businesses Jason , no stock , Peugeot are not making any boxers until at least next june according to local dealers , electronic chip problems worldwide , cars and all Van's are the same , which just puts prices up , we buy any (van , car , etc) are paying massive money, dealers cant have empty pitches so they have to pay more so the end user does too , I wonder what's going to happen when the clean air zones come into effect with the thousands of Van's converted to day van's and camper Van's done at home on the cheap , which still say van on the V5 , and they have to pay upto a tenner a day to drive it anywhere in the chargeable zones , Greater Manchester zone which comes in next year is about 430 square miles , plenty money for the govt

Not one to disagree with you experts, I have just got over 10 percent discount on a new 243 Benimar that’s in build for delivery in Jan. Can only put it down to buying of them before no trade in.

Thanks for posting, Jason, they're very informative and interesting. Shane said he paid 60k for a motorhome, but that increase in trade price will be reflected in his forecourt price. I don't see an issue about the price increase. Rolex attracts a premium as it's a brand that attracts far more sales than they can produce. This will be the case for any in demand product. You guys have got to make hay while covid sham continues. 👍😁

Covid is not a sham, it's a worldwide pandemic that is disrupting everything from the supply chain to demand for motorhomes.

@@TheMotorhomeMan Jason I agree 💯 with Shane, motorhome dealerships will have nowhere near enough new motorhomes for next year 2022. It's a fact because the dealership we have purchased a new motorhome from told me their receiving less than 50% of what they ordered, therefore good pre-owned motorhomes will fetch a hefty price!!!

hi great vlog, can you advise me on something, i part exchanged my comanchi on a 16 plate, with 5000 on the clock, for a delaware on a 19 plate with 2500 on the clock, a couple of months ago my wife no has said she wants to go back to a comanchi as the lounge is bigger. what would you advise we do so as to not loose to much money. hope you can help chris

Great info as always guys, what would you say is the route cause of the shortages coming through from manufacturers? I know in the commercial vehicle and car sector the semi conductor problem is a big issue but trying to understand if it's a labour, component or chassis issue affecting the supply chain?

Hi, thanks for the videos. For brand new motorhomes for sale, do dealers sell these with the Calor gas bottles?? Is it usual to have a dealer who does not sell e.g. a Brand New Swift at nearly £60K 'without' the bottle?? - Is there some sort of Calor bottle shortage going on??? Thanks, love from Scotland, X.

Paying 100% above book value is not good. Better to take a few thousand and book into a hotel and buy van when the correction comes. The correction will come and who wants a super inflated product in a downturn. 10 years ago people spent 60k on apartments in bulgaria etc for them to be worthless but payments still need to be made. Now they spending it on a van. WOW.
