Hi Andy Michelle, what a beautiful place you have taken me today, you both are very good skies it look a bit strange skiing ⛷ what looked like a road ,looks like you wear both having a great time ,think you need to adjust that back pack Michelle bit to big for you lol, that icy road looked so dangerous to walk on ,what’s beautiful view on top of the ridge can’t be nice going down, great blog very interesting but please give us a warning when the blog is finished,John 🌹🙏👀💕🤗⛄️⛷⛷⛷🎿🎿
Hi John, there are just 2 vlogs from the ski slopes , we filmed a lot but it felt repetitive showing the skiing. Most of the shots are on the straight bits which are sometimes roads! When we are carving (back and forth on the slope to control the speed) it can we a bit disorientating to watch, we don't want to make every dizzy! 🥴 It is such a Beautiful place on the mountains in the snow, we'll definitely go back next year 🚠⛷🎿 The rest of the vlog will be coming soon where we head away from these mountains but go to another amazing place in France 🏞 Thanks as always for your great comment and emoji's, you are the king of the emoji! 😀 Cheers...Andy&Michelle
Lovely to chat with you and share stories, after we left you we found ourselves on a tiny rowing boat with the bikes ferry crossing the river, what an adventure! Take care…Andy&Michelle
@@ExtremeMotorhomingAdventures Fantastic. I think I've seen that ferry on TV. We found a nice mountain bike trail yesterday which was fun and cycled some of the coast today, visiting Sizewell power station. Cheers, Steve & Sally
Stunning drone shot opener 👍👍 That gondola was so funny when you shut it and the ever so supportive Andy saying it won’t close properly now…just the kind of statement Derren would say 😂🤣 See Andy picked another great dodgy route again 🤣🤣 glad you over ruled him 👍🥰 mind you that part where you went in that hole reminded us of the Dawn French puddle clip….hilarious but thank god it wasn’t any deeper! Great vlog again both…only 1 more to go before we are caught up again 😩
The Gondola looked a bit tame so I needed to spice the experience up a bit for Michelle, us guys are so thoughtful! 🤣 Just sat here editing the next instalment 🎞 thats after we leave the slopes (ignore the outro in the final video, we've decided to put that one out later in the year) glad you enjoyed them 👍😀😊😍 Andy&Michelle
@@ExtremeMotorhomingAdventures oooh look forward to it. That last edit on the back of the motorhome was fabulous, even though it’s not what is coming up next now, it was still a great bit of clever editing 👍👌
Crampons, ice axe, walking poles next time, great vlog guys and beautiful scenery, looking forward to the next one thanks for sharing your amazing adventures 🌞🏔⛷⛷🍷🍷🎿
Stunning scenery - never wanted to ski before but your video made me think it might be fun especially with those views! And how fab you be able to use the Motorhome 🚐
You should definitely give it a try, skiing has everything, it’s exciting, beautiful scenery , very sociable , an all round great experience 😀⛷🏔❄️…Andy&Michelle
Great advice regarding the gear you need. We did a walk in the pyrennes in August. In Nov an experienced walker done the same walk. She wasn't using her gear. They found her body the following June after the snow melted. Please take that man's advice. Stay safe please.
Great again guys. Les Arcs one of our top 5 fav. ski resorts Spent many an afternoon in the Follie. Never done it in the van so interesting to see how you get on. You look like you enjoying yourselves
Thanks Martin, yes its a great way to finish off a day skiing😀 We can honestly say we enjoyed it more in the van than in a hotel. There'll be a video later specifically about how we prepared for motorhome skiing. Les Arcs would be one of our favourites too, St Anton is another favourite of ours, which others are yours? Cheers...Andy&Michelle
@@ExtremeMotorhomingAdventures Realised I think i have a top 15 but here are 6 of them Espace killy and Three Valley's as well as Paradiski in France. Les Portes du Soleil on the border with Switzerland. My top place but now out our price range is Verbier . and finally the Zillertal valley in Austria . Loads of skiing over 5 resorts ( Inc. Mayahoffen ) most accessed by train We are now favoring Austria as more value for money. St Anton is on the must go there list . Will be interested in the ski /motorhome video. P.S. our jump pack was just a cheap one but works fine on our 2.3 ducato .
Thanks Martin, always great to hear of favourites places 👍 also glad to hear your jump pack works for your 2.3, hopefully won't need it for a while now as we've just fitted a new battery
Just when We think you can’t make your maps any better, you add a moving ski lift. Also filming with your pole whilst skiing - Andy I take my hat off to you. Clare takes her hat off to Michelle for the dance moves 😂 the footprints were definitely too small for polar bears 😂 Clare just said that Andy is the Liam Neeson of the Motorhome world and Michelle is pretty hardcore too (Lara Croft maybe) another cracking video 😍
We’ll have to call that a result, no hats left on in the Dolittle residence😀 it was wishful thinking when I saw the footprints, as usual we’d gone off track!! 😀
Great vlogs guys, we skiied Les Arcs did not see anywhere as much as you did, mind you after a hard day on the piste, Apres Ski ruled, if you know what l mean 😁👍
Hi Andy and Michelle, can I ask when this was ? Looks like clear skis, warmer weather amd no kids half term (which lasts a month in France)............We are up for going in 2023 👍
Hi Tony, this was the first week of April 2022, we specifically avoided the France February half term month! 😀 The ski conditions were generally good but as it started to heat up it made it icy first thing in the morning and slushy late afternoon, We'll be skiing again in 2023, probably March👍😀
Thanks for sharing that adventure. Just love the snow! BTW, I learned a life lesson, don't try to follow in Andy's footsteps. (he makes a sodding great hole you'll fall in to) I must take some time and master the art of moving the line alone the map. Is that using Apple Motion? (I'll understand if it's a trade secret :-) ) Graham
Ha ha, definitely not wise to follow in my footsteps!! Yes the line is done in Apple motion, I'll send you a clip next week showing how its done 🎞😀 Cheers...Andy&Michelle
