Finding your videos really helpful as we have only got a motorhome this year. What are you thoughts about using a motorhome covers during winter months when not using it
Me personally i'd say avoid them. If you look at our pitch over winter and any other dealers you'll see that covers don't get used...and it's not just because we're trying to sell them!😀 It's because if there is any dirt on your van or cover whatsoever then the cover basically just acts as sandpaper scratching your van. If you keep it in a closed barn for example where there is no wind then it might be worth it.
Thank you for your insight into how to prepare your motor home for the winter period. What (if anything) can you do regarding the gas bottles/pipes etc...?
hi Kevin and Jason, great advice and content regards winter storage, i shall try peppermint oil as i have 37 year old Merc Mhome and last couple of years they have chewed though the rubber gear shift gator to get in, i believe the engine bay is a weak point on new and old MHome's, thanks guys
I still intend using my m/h during the winter. As well as draining down the fresh water and grey water tanks, do I need to drain the water heater using the yellow tap each time I get back from a trip? Thanks
Chop the wheel? Test with your little tool? Use a credit card? All these Motorhome jargons 😂 I know nothing about Motorhomes 😭Think I should focus on getting a camper van.
