Any time we get to view a motor assist, it's always a pleasant feel good moment for me, as well as feeling proud of Law Enforcement. Trooper Haley & Lt Hoyt are so kind, she had to be an absolute pleasure to help. Really enjoyed the polite conversations and the relaxed situation. I really enjoy the high speed chases, however the masses need to see that cops are there to help not just to give you a ticket. Great Job to the Troopers that helped the lady out.

Yes, these AR Troopers are awesome. I always switch the miles meter on my Subaru after putting fuel in it. I try to keep a 1/2 tank full @ all times.

James, this video is awesome. However, pass on some mechanical information if you can. A modern auto with fuel injection runs out of fuel, add fuel, and then turn the key on, wait 3 to 5 seconds and then off several times before engaging the starter. It will help prime the system. Also, if the auto's key is on for a while without running, the fuel pump will fail. Just FYI. Thanks for the real-life video of our real-life Troopers. Many of us do appreciate them.

Once on the way to go fishing my friend's pickup ran out of gas. NJ state Trooper picked him up and brought him to a service plaza on the Garden State Parkway, they gave him a can full of gas and brought him back to the pickup and we brought the can to the plaza and gave it back and filled up the truck. Thank you Troopers everywhere!

Her son should be a little embarrassed... spend a little time with your mom.. show her basic things about cars ... flats..batteries.. lights..fuses and such.. could help your mom get home safely.

just haring the key in run, you should hear the fuel pump running. once the pump self primes AND builds up sufficient pressure it will stop and go into standby, then pump runn as needed. I always wait for pump to build pressure and stop, before I turn key to crack. if you don't hear pump it won't crank if pump doesn't build presser and cuts off, it won't crank

Hwy 5 is a horrible road to break down on, there is nowhere to pull over (alot of Arkansas roads dont have a shoulder), that's awesome they helped her out.

There is normally a reset button after you run out of gas sometimes located beneath the glovebox door hidden underneath rather. 😊😊Dont ask how I know 😂😂😂❤❤❤❤Troopers are always great!

I think if you press and hold the start button without putting your foot on the brake it turns the car on but doesn’t start it. Then you can move it to neutral.

Several times over the years, I've seen our Troopers changing tires on the side of Intersates.

Lady is lucky the troopers were close by..if here where we are stranded on back highway, mobile coverage not the best ..you’d have to flag down a motorist to see if they could drop you off closer to town ..to seek assistance..

Naive question: should drivers just buy a gas container to keep on hand? And what about driving with a used container since they cannot be 'rinsed out'?
